Chapter 6

Francine's Pov

I was preparing for class when I heard a knock on my door

"Who is it?" I asked and for the first time in a long time Dad came knocking on my door

"It's Dad... I just wanna talk to you..." He said on the door and I got up ready to go when I opened the door

"Can I take you out on a date it's been awhile since we went on a date and besides it's that time of month..." He said with a smiley face

"You remembered..." I said in my mind I smiled and I was about to agree when I heard someone

"Babe I'm ready to go..." Jessa said and my smiled vanished and gave him a cold stare

"I'm busy and I have other things to do..." I said and grab my bag and left the two if them on their own upstairs

"Hey where are you going it's family day..." Darren said I rolled my eyes

"Go with them if you want for all I care!" I said

"Francine, come back here!" Dad shouted and I was about to leave when he grab me

"What is wrong with you I am trying my best to keep this family intact and all you could think about is yourself!" He said and I laughed

"You are late to the party! This family that you are trying to saved died a long time ago with mom and you killed it even more for marrying her!" I shouted back and the next thing I knew was I felt a pinch of pain from my face

"He... He s-slap m-me..." I said in my head trying to process what just happened

Darren's Pov

I saw Dad slapped her and my blood boil for hurting Francine and I attacked him and punched me in the face

"DO NOT EVER LAY A FINGER ON HER!" I shouted from the top of my lungs

"I have been quite long enough... You broke this family! You didn't even gave us time to let the fact sink in that mom is no longer with us and in just snap of a finger you got married!!" I shouted

"David! What is going on here!" I heard Mamo shouted and which means Pappy is here too

"What happened to Francine's face..." Pappy asked

"Dad slapped her because he couldn't accept the fact that it was his fault that our family got even more broken..." I said and Mamo slapped him

"If you want to start a family we won't stop you but don't also stop us from coming with Mamo and Pappy" She finally said something after Dad slapping

"Stop your sister..." And I turn my back on him

"Don't turn your back on me!" He shouted

"We should have turned our back on you ages ago!" I shouted and he took step back and I went up and pack ny stuff too

"Hey Chin are you done?" I asked and she noded and I grab her things we left all the thing our dad gave us especially the credit card and we went down stairs we saw Mamo and Pappy waiting for us and Pappy helped me with our things

"Don't worry we left everything you gave us..." I said and she stopped

"I almost forgot to return to you.." she said and she aggressively took her necklace and took Dad's hand and return the necklace to him

"Give it back when your ready to save our family... no actually scratch that off give it to your only princess because we are no longer your children your a free man now Mr. David Rivera..." She said and we left him there with his new wife

He did something unexpected he ran after Francine giving her a back hug

"Please stay..." Dad begged her to stay

"I can't... Because if I stay there will be nothing left of me..." She said and force her way out of our father's embrace

"I'm sorry..." He said as he kneel down and held my hand hoping for me to stay Dad needs me but

"Francine needs me more..." I said and took his hand and we went to the car and she cried the whole drive until she fell asleep in my arms and I texted Kyle

Darren: Hey bro... I think will be MIA for a month and I think we won't be able to go with guys because Francine needs to disconnect from the world we live in and I think it's best if you guys don't know where... we'll see you guys next month...

Kyle: No worries bro I gotcha back... You guys take care okay?

And I turned my phone off and took her's too and switched it off,

"This is for your own good chin I'm sorry best..." I whispered and talked to Mamo

"Mamo, Can you keep our phones just for a month I really need her to disconnect with everyone just for a month..." I said and she noded and took out phones

"We are here..." Pappy said and I didn't notice that I fell asleep and I carry her to her room where she usually sleeps

And I went down and grab some cold beer and started drinking and Mamo came and sat with me

"Hey love... Do you wanna tell Mamo about it?" She asked and I smiled knowing she's the only one I could lay my burdens and take my brave face off

"I'm just tired Mamo, I really wish I could fix my family and mend my sister's broken heart..." I said and I started crying the moment she held my hand and I looked down

"I miss my best friend Mamo..." I added

"Maybe you can fix what's broken between you two if your gonna be honest with each other's feelings..." Mamo said and I just looked at her

"When was the last time both of were honest about something..." She asked and I looked away knowing she was right

"Just be honest and I promise you she'll come around..." She added

Andrea's Pov

"Hey guys where is Chin?" I asked and Kyle checked his phone

"Ohh guys Darren said that they'll be MIA for a month because Francine needs to disconnect from the world..." Kyle said while looking his phone

"why didn't she told me?" I asked myself and I brushed it off maybe she's gonna tell me later

....

"Okay class the itinerary for this month is that we are going to Korea for the whole month we will be staying there..." Mr. Principal said

"Mr. Rogers will hand out the waiver for your parents to sign..." Mr. Principal added and He left and Mr. Rogers immediately send out the waiver

"Please don't forget to let you parents sign this by the end of next week!" Mr. Rogers said and I sigh knowing Dad is never gonna agree to this while mom is never home

"How will I get this waiver signed..." I mumbled to myself but still I'm gonna make sure of them signs it...

....

When I got home I was welcomed by my parents fighting over money again well because few months ago my dad had another women who caused my father's company downfall
