Her pov:

Don't look back. Don't act suspicious. Just cross the road.

Light change. White car. Brake. Screech. Black.

Erick's pov:

Lying there she looked so peaceful. A rare gem. Her raven black hair complemented her face beautifully and her skin glowed. Those lips looked so inviting that I could already imagine myself kissing them. It was like without even trying she looked stunning.

"Ok back up Erick" I chided myself, this vision was probably already spoken for and I've also got my fair share of girls.

I scanned the hospital room for the first time. After I'd hit her she'd blacked out so I rushed her to the hospital. The doctors said that she had minor injuries from which she would recover. Nothing too serious but they would like check-ups here and there. Now I was just waiting for her to wake up so that I could call someone to get her and be on my way.

Then out of no were, a voice spoke up startling me "I didn't know angels had green eyes" Despite her condition she still had the courage to flirt, I couldn't help but smile. Then I saw her eyes, if she thought mine were pretty, they were nothing compared to hers. They were green but also had hints of brown and spots of orange, I couldn't pinpoint the exact color. "Well, I don't know about angels but devils sure do, I'm Erick" I couldn't help but flirt back. "I disagree, so my green-eyed guardian, Erick, can you tell me why I feel like I've been run over?" but before I could respond "Wait Erick from Cnco?" "You know me?" I used to make out with my hand thinking it was one of you guys- so yeah, I think I know about you",  she added in a chuckle.

I got lost in the moment staring at her eyes.

"Erick, you still haven't answered my question" I loved the way my name sounded coming out of her mouth. Then I remembered the question. "Yeah, I kind of accidentally hit you with my car" I stated awkwardly rubbing my neck. "WOW saw me for the first time and just had to get on top of me. You do know that there are other ways to do that." I struggled to form a sentence as I felt myself going red. "Relax! I'm just messing with you, you look cute when you blush" she laughed clutching her side. It probably hurt to laugh

Alright, so we"re trying to make each other blush-huh? Bring it on senorita. " So do you have a name," I asked her? She went silent, that was weird, then as she noticed me, just like she'd read my thoughts, she smiled, "I'm Olivia." "A fitting name for a radiant goddess", I saw her eyes go sad again but she turned red nonetheless. "Now look who's blushing" I mocked her. "Shut up, it's just hot in here" she uttered not meeting my eyes. "Uhmmm" I raised an eyebrow earning a pillow to the face.

"A girl like you probably has a boyfriend to worry about, how about you give me his number so that I can call him" "BOYFRIEND? I wish" she snorted "I'm incapable of attracting another human my age" I could tell that was a lie, she probably had guys dying to get her snap but I decided to not press." What about your parents, I need to inform someone in your family about your whereabouts." She went quiet again." I ran away" she stated. "Oh" I didn't know what else to say- I knew she wasn't the sort of girl who liked sympathy. "You know I'm gonna have to tell the police, someone needs to know about you" "Look there's no need, I'm a  strong girl, I'll be fine," she said, getting out of bed. I saw her vision get clouded and caught her before she hit the floor.

"There is no way that you are FINE, I'm not leaving you alone at least till the doctors give me the OK. You need rest and someone to at least monitor you. You'll be discharged in the evening and then I'm taking you to my place. No, if's or but's" I placed her on the bed "Erick, don't, trust me, I'm more than you can handle." "I can't hear you," I said putting my fingers in my ears. I saw her smile.

Then I glanced at the watch. Yikes, I was getting late for my meeting. Olivia saw my worry, "What's up?" and so I told her. "Go I'll be fine"  "I'll see you in the evening," I said kissing her forehead- Hey! She was single. "And what was that?" she asked with an eyebrow raised "I'm grateful for all that you're doing for me but hands on the reigns pretty boy."

"Olivia's" pov:

It had been 10 minutes since Erick had left that I had finally let out a breath of relief. I scanned the room for my bag and found it lying on the side of the bed. I picked it up and thank God all its contents were present. I picked up the loaded gun and emptied it. Maybe staying at Erick's for a while wasn't a bad idea, Zach and his men wouldn't have a clue and I'd be under the radar. But I'd have to be careful it doesn't take a genius to know that Erick was flirting with me and since he was cute so I couldn't help but flirt back. But I would have to be careful, he's a good guy, I wouldn't wanna break his heart. I placed the gun back in the bag's secret compartment and placed the bag on the floor. Then I tried to relax and think of "Olivia's" back story.
