Jealous of a toddler

Erick's pov:

Liv and I were playing "Gran Turismo" when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door to find Yanelis. "¡Hola Hermana! ¿qué te trae por aquí?" I asked her. " Erick dime que no lo olvidaste. Te dije hace una semana que dejaría a Thiago aquí por un día cuando mamá y yo vayamos a visitar a Tia." She sounded mad.

"No, definitivamente no lo olvidé." I said lying through my teeth." ¿Dónde está mi sobrino favorito por cierto?". She didn't look convinced but I guess since, she had no other choice, let it slide. "Corre por el pasillo mientras hablamos".

"Erick, hurry up! Are you hiding there 'cause you're afraid I'm gonna beat your slow ass?" Liv screamed from the living room. "I'm coming and who you calling slow?" I yelled back.

"Who's that?" Yanelis asked me. "Hola! Soy Olivia. Encantada de conocerte." Olivia emerged behind me. "Hola cariño. ¿Eres una de las chicas de Erick?" Yanelis asked her. Just them Thiago ran in. "Tio Ewikkkkk" He yelled, hugging my knees. "Thiagoooooo" I replied hugging him back.

"No, I'm not one of Erick's girls but he sure wants me to be," Liv answered Yanelis, chuckling. "Not yet she isn't," I told Yanelis putting my arm over Liv's shoulder. "Okay, hands of the goods pretty boy," she told me and bent down to Thiago. 

"Hola," she asked him sweetly. Thiago broke away from me, turning to her "Hi". "Soy Olivia, pero puedes llamarme tía A. ¿Y tienes un nombre, linda?" she told him. "Soy Thiago". "Well Thiago, you are adorable. Can I have a hug?" she asked him and he complied so much so that he wouldn't break away and she had to hold him. I mean can you blame the kid?

"Why are you standing out there? Come on in" she invited Yanelis in. "Thank you honey but I've got to get going. And if you don't mind me asking but if you're not with Erick then who are you." "No, it's alright. I don't mind you asking but I think Erick would like to tell you that story." she laughed. "It was nice meeting you," she told Yanelis and made her way to the couch with Thiago leaving me with a wink and Yanelis raising an eyebrow at me.

I told Yanelis the story and expectedly, she went off on me. Screaming something along the lines of the reckless, irresponsible, poor girl, etc. After she was done chewing me out she went on to Liv and hugged her, apologizing for my stupidity. "I like her," she told me while heading out the door.

I locked the door and headed back inside. Liv and Thiago were on the couch and she was showering him with kisses. I didn't think it was possible but I'm jealous of a toddler. "Okay, T, what do you wanna watch?" I asked Thiago referring to the tv. I saw Liv whisper into Thiago's ear. "Lwets watch all the scooby doo movieees", he told me. "But bud we said we would watch all the transformers movies this time." I tried arguing but two puppy eyes can do something to you.

We were in the middle of the second movie, huddled up in a blanket, Liv on the right, me on the left, and Thiago in the middle,  that a voice spoke up. "Tio Ewik, can I have chocwate?," Thiago told me. Liv's ears also perked up at this. "Do you like Nutella?" Liv asked Thiago softly. "I luv Nutella" 

"Well, then let us have a feast. Erick, bring out the Nutella," she commanded, in a very off British accent. "Do it yourself" I told her. "But I'm too lazy to get up. Please for me?" she whined. "Ughh fine!" I got up and got the Nutella. "Here" I huffed. Those two started eating it out of the jar with the spoon.

It was 10 right now. We had spent the entire day watching a scooby doo marathon. Liv and Thiago had finished the entire jar of Nutella and were now cuddling each other, asleep. I got up, picked up Thiago, and tucked him in the extra bedroom I set up for him. "Tio Ewik" his sleepy voice said. "Si" I replied. "I weally wike Tia A." "I do too honey," I told him honestly, kissing him on the forehead. " Buenas Noches," I said closing the door.

Liv was still curled up in a ball on the sofa. It was weird the other day she walked out of the pool with no explanation and the next day she was completely fine. She made it seem like she wasn't interested but then she would pull stunts like that. Another thing I was confused about was why she had asked everybody to call her 'A'. 

"Hey, Princesa. Time to get up." I whispered in her ear. She stirred, said," I'm too tired, carry me" and fell back asleep. A smile tugged at my lips. Ok, let's do this. I slid a hand under her and picked her up. She smelled nice and I couldn't help but notice how well we fit together. I carried her to her bed and tugged her in, just like Thiago. "Goodnight", her head popped up from under the covers." Night"
