I really like this one Oo
I don't wanna start with all the ongoing stories I still have but I wanted to share anyway..........
.o*°💗°*o.Summary: Jisung is the son of the CEO from a manufacturing company who managed to piss off the leader of an infamous mafia group.
Chan works for the National VIP Protection service and is assigned as Jisung's bodyguard. Far from liking being watched and ordered around, Jisung isn't too keen on following any given recommendations.
"Hey spoiled brat, stop acting like 5 years old and take a grip on yourself. I'm your bodyguard, not your babysitter."--------------
"It is with great pride and no fear I confirm the continuation of the project to cut all ties with all factories using illegal manpower and wrongfully acquired resources. We are fully engaged in this battle and we will not falter in front of the threats and blackmails. I want to reassure all suppliers, partners and clients that I will do everything in my power to maintain our supply chain in spite of these changes and..."
Jisung rolled his eyes and turned off the television. His mother had a very bothersome tendency to fancy intricate words. She took pride in making herself - and the company his parents co-owned - look like the book definition of perfect ethics, fair trade and rightful labour that only truly existed in Disney Movies.
"Nice speech," he ironised, focusing on his phone rather than his parents sitting beside him.
"Thank you. I'm glad you appreciated it."
"I've seen your speeches a hundred times too many. I don't know why you wanted me to watch this one in particular."
"Actually, I wanted to let you know that we received plenty of new investment thanks to what the media called 'a bold action leading the future of fair trade," she paused and sought eye contact, a habit she built when she was in front of an audience.
"Great for you. Not like I care about the investments though," Jisung dismissed. He fell deeper into the sofa. His arm started to ache after staying so long in the same position. He stretched his limbs and put his legs up to the armchair, ignoring the reprimand from his father.
"We also received some complaints too,"
"They were menaces, dear," Jisung's father interrupted.
"Yes, well, we received some intimidating remarks from GaekChae who owns a few factories all around the country. Then, a threatening letter arrived at the office and since they're reputed to have some links with some underground groups, the police decided it was serious enough to set off their protection service."Jisung looked up from his phone deadpan. His mother smiled sweetly at him and inched closer to him.
"I don't like where this is going."
"It's almost nothing, no reason to be angry or anything."
"Stop beating around the bush."
"What your mother means to say is that we have bodyguards assigned to us for the time being. It's a precaution. I hope you will..."
"Me too? I don't need a bodyguard, I don't give a shit about the company."
"Language Jisung."
"Why would anyone try to harm me?"
"You're our son and the police said it was necessary to have all the members of the family under protection."
"You're trying to tell me I will have a random dude following me 24/7 for the next few weeks?"His parents both nodded, glad that he wasn't throwing a fit. For once, he seemed to take the news peacefully.
Jisung scoffed and stood up to leave the room. "Whatever. Keep my word: I won't let a random guy at my back for god knows how long."
-------
"My name is Chan. I work for the National VIP Protection service and I have been assigned as your bodyguard."
Gosh did Jisung want this guy on his back; or anywhere else on his body. Lifetime deal, the man was a keeper. Please someone prepare the contract.
