Chapter 12

You look at the flyer on your hands looking for part time workers before crumbling it and throwing it on the fire place.

The paper burned after a few seconds and you closed your eyes in an attempt to make the annoying thoughts out of your head.

Suddenly finding out you are married for a week is not a happy occasion. Even if your husband is handsome, rich and caring it doesn't change the fact that you don't want to be tied to him.

You fucked up big time. 

If he was a normal salary man maybe you could be happy you know? 

You wanted to self destruct but that is not an option. 

"What are you thinking so hard about?" You turned around and saw the guy who shamelessly scammed you enter through the door acting all innocent that you couldn't stomach it any longer.

"Why did you even trick me? You know that is illegal right? Gosh I'm so stupid for trusting you of all people." your face is turning red from anger and the annoying part is that you have this habit of crying when your anger reach the max level.

This caught Axel off guard that he immediately enveloped you into hug.

"Why are you crying? I'm sorry I did not propose properly but we could have your dream wedding and you don't need to hold back on your spending." seems like the Don really had the habit of pointing at on the wrong stuff.

"I want a big ring with pink diamond ten of them for my every finger." you said unreasonably and he easily agreed????

What the fuck!

"Anything you want."

You don't know whether you should laugh or cry. As you thought getting straight to the point is always the best ah.

"Who would want those pink diamonds?! I want a divorce." You shouted in annoyance fully annoyed by the boss.

"that is not how the underworld works since you already agree to this partially I'm afraid I can't take it back. Maybe you are tired from our trip."

You are forced to take a pill slipped by Axel on your mouth, after taking it you felt dizzy all of a sudden. That is a sleeping pill obviously the one with a strong dosage that could immediately knock someone out after a few minutes within taking.

Crazy! This is Crazy! 

"Sleep for now Reader."

His face was the last thing you saw before you fainted

You woke up from a cozy bed with a soft velvet colored cover. You wondered where you are and jumped out of bed when you suddenly feel down flat on your backside. Wonderful not, your feet are tied into a shackle that only allow you to go to a limited range away from the bed.

"well this is annoying." What are you supposed to do with this shackle. Shackling you to him on papers is not enough Axel just had to do it literally that it making your head ache.

You had been in the underworld for as long as you can remember and your hands is not that particularly clean anymore, you have a few tricks hidden down you sleeves. If Axel won't let you out then you would do so for yourself.

You are a great and independent woman this rusty shackles won't stop you.

You exhaled deeply before pulling a small tiny metal from your hair that you've disguised as a hair ornament. 

There was a crisp sound of heels and shoes that you stopped what you are doing, immediately hiding the small metal. 

It turned out to be the princess's bodyguard and the princess herself.

"Reader why are you locked up here by my brother?!" The famiglia's princess asked in utter confusion. She knew full well how her brother loves reader and most of the time he would describe he radiance under the sun. It doesn't make sense why his brother would chose to lock you up  in this tiny but lavish room.

You glanced at Nova while clicking your tongue. You and that guy had never see things eye to eye but both of you never bothered to make trouble or fight each other. Nova just felt annoyed that the princess is  attached to the Don's milk dog.

If other's could hear Nova calling you a milk dog they would call him crazy. You are not a dog, you are a wolf.

"I will help you to run away!" The princess said

Your heart soften but did not accept the offer. Axel is a cruel man, if he knew that his sister helped you escape he would not even blink as he sever a limb or two. Of course Nova would not let that happen but the mental trauma would be too bad. 

"I won't escape, I've already married Axel after all." You said with a forced smile, trying your hardest to show that you are happy. It could not trick Nova but it could fool the violent and naïve princess of the famiglia."

A soft laughter was heard near your room. A person's figure emerged from the dark like he was waiting there all this time. His eyes showed a dangerous glint that could clearly cut someone down. 

"I don't appreciate you offering help to let my wife escape but since I heard something good from her I would let you off my little sister. Remember there would be no next time."

The princess could only nod her head giving out a few teasing smiles before leaving with Nova who was on high alert to protect the princess.

"Is your feet hurting from the chains? I orders a chain that won't damage your skin so don't be angry with me anymore."

You wanted to bash in his handsome face but you already know that every mafia family boss is at least crazy and they are just hiding it deep.

You need to plan before you can successfully leave this place.

Your thoughts were cut off when you heard a crisp sound from your shackles. The place was quite that both of you heard it. It looks like your picking on it worked but it just have to open at the wrong time.
