Word of God
Refers to the statements and thoughts made by the "God" who created the canon source material (TV show, movie, book, etc...) upon which a fandom is based, but that are never shown within the canon itself. As the words are direct from the original creator they may also be considered canon by certain fans. Whether or not the Word of God should be accepted as true canon is subjective to each person, as there are a large contingent of fans who believe if it is not shown then it simply doesn't count.
