"Thanks for letting me bring Riley over, she's been asking to hang out with the boys at LEAST five or six times a day, while murmuring something about sticking something together, don't know what that's about..."

I switch my gaze from Riley and the boys running around the yard to Katrina.

"Of course, you are always welcome to bring Riley over, the boys have also been asking to see Riley and whispering weird things like that to each other, I wish to know what it is they are speaking of as well."

I nod and turn my head back to where the kids had been playing a moment before and notice that they were no longer there. I pivot my head to try and see if I could find them, looking to the left and right side of the yard.

"Shit, not again!"

I noticed Katrina give me a strange look and choose to ignore it as I continue my search for the kids while Katrina calmly walked besides me. I hear the thudding of tiny feet running across dirt and grass and suddenly I'm being caught off guard and shoved by a, surprisingly strong, tiny body.

I hadn't noticed that in my rush to prevent myself from getting hurt that Katrina had caught me and was holding me in a dipped position. I open my eyes and find myself face to face with Katrina, only a few inches in-between our faces. A dark crimson blush begins to make its way up my neck and across my cheeks as my eyes widen in surprise. Katrina turns her head away from me to address the kids and I notice that her cheeks have turned a light pink.

"Sergei! Do NOT push Janet again! Apologize!"

A small apology was mumbled and hushed childish giggles could be heard in the background. Katrina looks back down at me, a small, subtle smirk on her face.

"Would you look at that, the infamous 'I don't care about anything' Janet has finally fallen or me..."

My face begins to heat up again as the already existing blush painted across my face becomes a few shades darker. Katrina let out an amused chuckle as she pulled me up into a standing position, my hands gripping her waist for support so that I wouldn't fall over again. I stared at her, unable to tear my eyes away from her face, almost as if I was in a trance, as my eyes trace the sharp slope of her jawline, the bright blue of her eyes reminding me of a vast ocean illuminated by the sun and stretched out across the vast horizon, and her lips, turned upward into a soft smile, are painted a magnificent light red that helps define the beauty of the rest of her face. I removed on of the hands that are resting on her waist and rest it on her cheek.

"You are absolutely stunning..."

Suddenly she surges forward and our lips meet in an electrifying and soft kiss and my eyes close, savoring the moment. After what feels like hours but was most likely only a few seconds high pitched childish shrieking, cheering, and clapping starts up beside us and I pull away, burying my face into the crook of Katrina's neck as my face heats up. She lets out a soft amused chuckle and wraps her arms around me in a warm and comforting hug.

"And you, are the prettiest woman I have ever had the privilege to lay eyes on."

I smile and bury myself further into the crook of her neck at the compliment, happy that I had finally been able to act on my feelings for the blonde Russian.
