Looking out for you

It was just an ordinary school day. Josh got the regular lift to school pretty early so that he could meet up with his best friend Jayden. Jayden had ginger hair and was a little overweight for his age but Josh didn't care. Josh had brunette hair and was pretty small.

Jayden normally took his bike to school but he felt sorry for Josh since he didn't have a bike. "You don't have your bike with you?" Asked Josh. "No, I guess I felt bad for you.." muttered Jayden. Josh laughed under his breathe. Jayden always acted tough in front of others but suddenly he acted soft around Josh. Josh liked him for that, he knew that Jayden wasn't actually a big scary guy who likes fights. In fact, Jayden was quite the opposite, he was a big softie especially for Josh.

They both loved each other yet never could admit it. Jayden decided to change that. "Want to come to mine for a sleepover after school?" Asked Jayden, his voice shaking a little.
Josh stood still for a moment until he said "sure!"

Jayden's heart skipped a beat, he was relieved yet nervous. Tonight was the night. He was finally going to admit his love for Josh.

!! DING, DING !!

That was the bell. Josh and Jayden looked at each other for a moment then started running towards their class.

School felt longer than usual yet all the two boys could think about was the sleepover tonight.

Finally, the bell that marked the end if the day.
Act normal.
Jayden thought.
