That school trip

I packed all my stuff and got ready for the school trip. It was 5am when I woke up. My mom was still sleeping so I woke her up. She didn't even want to say goodbye to me and just went back to sleep. She pisses me off as soon as I wake up. I took the money and went to the bus station to go to school. When I came there, I was a bit surprised. There was a new guy on the bus. I've never seen him before. His hair was longish and blonde. He was very tall. I'm not sure about his eyes, but I think they were green. He seemed lonely, so I decided to go and sit next to him.

„Hi there! "I said.

„Oh, hi. "

„I'm Sakura, but you can call me Saku.", I was a little scared of him, to be honest.

„I like your name. I'm Kai. Nice to meet you. "

Oh my God, his name was so beautiful. And the way he said it!? Amazing. He seemed like a very nice, but shy person. Most of the ride was quiet, but I secretly kept looking at him. I noticed that he had a scar going through his brow, eye and all the way to his forehead. His eyebags were very noticeable. He looked like he never smiled, which I think I was right in. We got off the bus and went to the school.

„So, are you the new kid here? "I asked.

„Yeah, I just moved here actually. "

Just as I went to ask which class, he was in he said: „You're probably wondering which class I'm going into, right? ", I was shocked.

Can he read my mind? „Oh, yeah I did. How did you know? "

„Uh, I-, I just guessed. Anyway, I'm going into the 1CLD class, what about you? "

I got red. That fine kid going to the same class as I do?! „REALLY!!? I'm going to the same class! "

„Great, I'll have some friends then. Can I sit with you? "

At this point I was as red as a tomato. „I mean, sure... As long as you don't ditch me for someone else. "

„Bahahaha! Ditch you? I don't do that. "

„Yeah well see..."

I was so intimidated by him. He was attractive. „Oh, I forgot. I really don't have friends, like at all. "

„Okay and? I'm a new kid here, I don't have any either. Except you, yeah?"

"I'm his friend? By this time, I think I started to catch feelings for him, even though I shouldn't. It's too fast, we barely know each other.

„Yeah, if you're my friend too. "

„Well of course I am dumbass. "

His type of talking was so flirty to me, maybe I'm just love deprived, but he really was attractive. „Okay then, but one thing. I want to get to know you more. "

„What do you want to know about me? "

„Hmm, like, where did you get that scar on your eye?"

I noticed he got a little stressed out. I wonder why. „Oh, uhm, I got it from my cat, yeah. "

he looked suspicious to me, but I didn't really pay attention to that.

„What's your cats name? "

„His name is-„

A teacher yelled at us to start walking faster because we will be late for our trip. „You'll tell me later, this teacher isn't playing."

Kai's thoughts: phew, she almost caught me. It's so tiring to hide these powers. Why do I even have them? Maybe I should tell her, she's my friend at the end. But my stupid dad told me not to tell anyone. Eh, I'll tell her once, she is trustworthy, I can see it.

The students packed their things in the bus and sat down. Kai sat with Sakura. They were talking, when a popular girl came and stopped next to Kai.

„Oh my God, are you the new student Kai? I'm Ginny, the most beautiful girl in the school, if you didn't already notice. "

Sakura's thoughts: what does she want from him lord. I'm so mad for nothing, I mean he is my friend and she always steals my friends.

„Hi Ginny, yeah I am Kai. Though, I didn't really notice you, to be honest."

Kai said.

„Ginny, what do you want now?" I asked.

She is always in my business.

„Oh, hi Sakura, I haven't noticed you. Kai's hotness was stopping me from that."

She winked at Kai.

„Bruh shut up, u flirt with every single boy you see, no wonder your boyfriend left you. " I said.

„Yo, chill Saku. Its fine, it's not like I can't tell her that myself."

„Excuse me? You should be attracted to me already. Ugh, let's go girls."

Ginny and her crew left at the back of the bus next to the popular boys.

„Saku, what was that? " Kai asked while laughing.

„What was what? " I blushed a little but I was still angry.

„You seemed so jealous of her when she said that I was hot. Do you think the same?" he looked at me with a smirk.

„Shut up dumbass! "

I punched him in the arm and turned around. I didn't want to show that he was attractive to me.

„Oh, so you do huh?"

„Uhm, I don't."

„Mhm, well deal with this later, c'mon we arrived."

What did he mean by „well deal with this later"? with what? He really is full of secrets.

We got out of the bus. The teacher made us walk for like 7 miles. I nearly died.

„You're already tired? Weak ass." Kai said.

„Well sorry, mister „hot", I'm not involved in any sports."

„I like that nickname. Call me like that from now on." He said sarcastically.

„No way. Shut up and walk."

„Okay okay, ms „hot". Haha."

What did he just call me?! I felt my heart pounding.

„ I know I am, no need to tell me." I tried to act cool when I was in fact so red.
