A MONTH LATER
Y/n Pov

I woke up next to my beautiful girlfriend and got out of bed then made my way to the kitchen to start breakfast for us both. I put on a pot of coffee that's when I felt two arms around my waist and her head on my shoulder. I turned around to see Maya and said "Good morning Bambina! How did you sleep?" Maya replied " I slept wonderfully but I didn't like waking up to an empty bed this morning. Hey I have an idea how about you call out sick and I can tell the Lieutenant at the station to take over and we can spend the day together I also have a surprise tonight." I thought about it for a second and replied " I would love that I'll call Bailey in a minute." I kissed her after I said that and poured two cups of coffee and handed Maya hers. I drank my coffee and called Bailey telling them I won't be able to make it in today. 'Good thing I didn't have any surgeries to scrub in on today'  I thought to myself and I heard Maya calling one of the lieutenants at the station telling them they are in charge today. 
 Maya and I went to the store and did some shopping she told me I should buy a nice dress for her surprise so we went to a cute little boutique and I tried on some dresses and showed them all to Maya to get her opinion on them and see which one she liked the most. I tried on about ten of them. I asked her "So which one did you like the most Bambina?" She replied, " I like all of them but maybe the fifth one looked sexy on you." It was a black spaghetti-strapped dress.

I blushed when she said that and asked "what are you wearing for your surprise that you planned?" Maya said, " I already have my outfit picked out at home babe don't worry about me okay now let's get something on the way back home." I nodded in response and paid for the city dress I tried on and we left the store. On the way home, we stopped at a nice restaurant and went in to eat lunch.

Maya's Pov

While we were eating our lunch. I asked, "Hey babe there's this thing at the station tomorrow and I was wondering if you'd like to come?" She immediately said, "Sì Bambina I would love to come. what is it exactly?" I answered "It's a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for someone we lost at the station. It was my friend's dad." Y/n said "I'm sorry to hear that. Were you two close?" I said, "Yeah we were close he was the one who helped me and his daughter get in the station and working together." After I said that Y/n came over and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. After we ate we paid and got back to the car, of course, Y/n puts on her favorite artist on the radio it was Taylor Swift (or whatever artist you like) at least she has some good songs. We sang some of her songs on the way home too.

Y/N's pov

Maya was on the phone with someone from Virginia but I couldn't tell who it was 
On the phone
M: Hey JJ can you come to Seattle and bring Emily with you please I want you to meet someone
J: Of course Maya we'll just have to tell Hotch(the dilf of the BAU) about our trip and how long we're staying. Isn't there a spaghetti dinner coming up soon you know how Emily loves Italian food?
M: yeah there is and I need you to come in a week before that I want to surprise her and tell Emily don't worry there will be a lot of Italian food at my place 
J: oh and why is does my cousin have an Italian girlfriend 
M:  maybe I do JJ you'll just have to wait and see 
J: ok bye Maya I have a case to deliver and just so you know Emily and I are dating 
M: ok JJ bye and congrats you two 

After the phone conversation 

"Good morning Bambina," I said which scared the crap out of Maya since she didn't know I was listening. "Oh hey, babe how long have you been standing there?" Maya replied questioning me. "Oh just about through the whole conversation on the phone who were you talking to by the way?" I asked. "Oh, that was my cousin.  She was planning on coming out here to visit me and I want you to meet her and her new girlfriend." Maya said while kissing me. I mumbled against her lips "then I hope she likes me then." Maya nodded in agreement and said, "I hope so too I know her girlfriend Emily will like you." After she said that I just kissed her and went to get ready for work.
