Chapter One- XFactor Audtion

~~~Kelsies POV~~~

"Wake up, WAKE UP!!!" my best friend angel screams in my ear.

I groan in response and roll over to glance at my iPhone.

"Angel, why would you awake at this Ungodly hour, on spring break?!?!!"

I said as loud as possible

"Tomorrow is your X-Factor Audition and we need to go shopping.Now."

I rolled out of bed and walked to my bathroom. It was messy because Angel was staying for the week. I hopped onto my rug because the tile floor was freezing.

I reached over and turned on the shower, as hot as it would go, stripped, and stepped in. I still couldn't decide to sing either "The A Team" by Ed Sheeran or an acoustic version of "Troublemaker" by Olly Murs. While I was in the shower I sang both and decided on "Trouble maker" in acoustic.

I finally turned the hot water off and stepped out. Me being the stupid 14 year old that I am, forgot a towel. I found one on the rack to my pleasure, I thru on my One Direction robe and went to my closet. I picked out some high waisted, neon turquoise booty shorts and White lacy tank that I tucked in with a gold belt and black pumps. I pulled my hair in a high ponytail and walked out.

" angel I'm ready!!!" I screamed

She walked out of the guest suite and said "Dang girl, u look smokin hot!" she said

"I do my best" I replied with a smirk.

15 minutes later My sister drove us to San Antonio Mall. We pulled up in her red Shelby GT and me and Angel hopped out and walked into the mall. My sister said," meet me at the food court at 4:00"

"ok we have approximately 5 hours, where to go first?..." I said

" Hollister!!" angel shouted

" I'll meet you there, I'm gonna go grab some gum and crap from 'five below'" I said.

I was in five below when A super cute guy walks in he immediately looks at me and winks. I smirk at him and go to the counter purchasing snapple apple and some watermelon gum.

I walked into Hollister and saw Angel, we shopped at Hollister and each left with an outfit for tomorrow. I had a short floral skirt with a white tank tucked in and a blue jean jacket. We ended up leaving the mall with the entire "Pink Chiffon" collection from Bath and Body Works, and some cute cowboy boots.

When I got home from dinner later that night my 17 year old sister Carly says," When you were at Five Below I saw the guy wink at you. You should have said something. He. Was. Hot."

I laugh at her response and go get ready to bed. Tomorrow will be a looonnngggg day.

*Next Day*

I woke up and showered and got all ready to go to the X-Factor Auditions. I grabbed my bag and walked out to the car where Angel and Carly were waiting.

When I got all signed in I headed to the contestants room. And sat in a circle of chairs; these nice people came up and talked to me. There were a group of guys I talked to who called themselves Emblem3. They were to cliche to me but Angel would love them. All the sudden a cute guy that looks a lot like JB comes in and the girl beside me, Megan yells "Hey little Biebs!! Come 'ere!"

I recognized him and said, " I saw you at Five Below yesterday and you winked at me."

" oh yeah, I remember you! I'm Reed Deming by the way."

We chatted about out auditions and how nervous we were when a security guy warned me to get ready to go on, I swapped numbers with Reed and He said," good luck! You'll make it! Come find me afterwards ok?" I nodded and walked to the stage.

I was looking at the judges and Simon Cowell says," Tell me about yourself."

I say," my name is Kelsie Prince, I'm fourteen years old and live in San Antonio, I go to a private school."

" what will you be singing today?" Demi Lovato said.

"an acoustic version of TroubleMaker by Olly Murs"

" ok good choice and good luck"

I heard the music playing and looked left to backstage to see Carly and Angel giving me grins and looked Right backstage and saw Reed giving me a thumbs up and wink. I winked back and he bit his lip, sexily may I add, and watched me sing

I started

" You had me hooked again from the minute you sat down, The way you bite your lip got my head spinning around. After a drink or two I was putty in your hands, don't know if I have the strength to stand oh oh---"

I finished the rest of the song and waited for the verdict

Judges:

La Reid: " You did fantastic!! The best I've ever heard. YES!!"

Simon C.: " I enjoyed the youth of your performance and your vocals are fantastic. Yes!"

Britney Spears: " you have a very powerful voice for such a young girl. Yes!"

Demi Lovato:" You are so adorable and sweet. You can sing better than me and Britney combined. That's 4 yes's, I'll see you in three days for bootcamp."

I walked off stage and hugged Angel and Carly, and started crying. I ran to Reed and he said, "You did great!! After this would you like to go to Starbucks?" he asked while blushing.

" I would love too but lemme go ask my sis."

I ran over to Carly and she said, " Is that the guy from Five Below??"

" Yes!! And he's about to audition, he invited me to Starbucks after were done , Carly can I puhleez go?" I said

" I guess. But home by 11??"

"Of Course" I smirked and Reed said I"'m about to go on, I'm so Nervous!!"

" I was too but you'll get the four yeses I promise."

" Come meet my dad and stepmom and brother? I want you to stand with them."

" ok but after your audition I have to show my BFF that guy Keaton from Emblem3 or she'll kill me."

We walked over to what was obviously his family and he said," This is My dad Mitch, my brother Blake and my stepmom Sydney. Dad, Blake, Sidney, this is Kelsie, she sang and got four yeses"

I blushed and held my hand out to his dad, he said "The Demings don't shake hands" and he pulled me into a hug while the rest of his family was the same.

" Reed, your on in 5.4.3.2 and go" a security guy said while looking at him. Reed walked out and introduced himself and Started singing It Will Rain by Bruno Mars and Simon stopped him.

"we feel this is to easy of a song, can you sing a different one?"

" yes sir, here's Grenade by Bruno Mars"

He sang through perfectly and got all four judges to say yes!! He came back to us with a huge grin on his face.
