A Sophitz Love Story

Chapter 6

Sophie's  Pov

I wake up with the best idea on how to tell my friends that Fitz and I are dating. But we need to do it quickly, before Biana will tell them. I also need to pull some strings and get something special.

Dex's Pov

Biana told me that Sophie and Fitz have something to tell the gang but she won't tell me what. It's very frustrating, especially because you would think that Sophie would tell me. But I'll wait until she tells everyone, I'm sure everyone else is questioning what Sophie and Fitz have to announce. 

Meanwhile at the Vackers......

"Sophie!" Keefe sang, "What do you want to tell us?"

"I-I" Sophie starts.

"You will all find out tomorrow morning, meet us at Callas tree at eleven." Fitz says making everyone quiet down.

 "Fine." Keefe whined.

"Stop acting like a baby." Tam said as he rolled his eyes.

"I'm not a baby, your a baby." challenged Keefe.

"Your both babies!" shouted Biana, "Stop fighting over the stupidest things."

The next day:

Sophie's pov

Fitz and I nervously wait at Calla's tree when the all arrive at once. "Where are we going?" Keefe whined.

"You'll see," I respond, "everyone hang on!"

In a blink of an eye we are at the museum where Fiz and I met, "What is this?"Linh asked. 

"This is where Fitz and I met." I respond, Fitz's eyes met mine. 

Biana at this point is going a bit crazy, squealing and jumping up and down. "Can I say it? Can I say it?"

"Say what?" Dex asked.

"Sophie and I are dating." Fitz blurts out.

"MY BROTHER AND MY BEST FRIEND ARE DATING!!!!!!!!!!!" Biana screams. 

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh" everyone whisper yells back at her.

"Where did you meet her?" Linh asked Fitz, Fitz grasped my hand and led me to the bench that started everything.  It all started with this mysteriously gorgeous boy who told me that I was an elf, and now we are back to the start. This time with my friends who are dearest to me, and my now boyfriend. I am as happy as I could be. You may think this is the end but it's just the beginning. After all I go have my cognate exam tomorrow and a life ahead of me.

"Rise and shine sweetie!" Edaline called, "It's your cognate exam today with your b-o-y-f-r-i-e-n-d!!!!!"

"You act like Biana." I groan.

"Hey, that's a good thing."

Once I get ready I go to school, that's where Tiergan told me where there exam would be. 

I sit down on a stool and wait for Fitz. 

"Sorry I'm late." Fitz apologizes.

"Ok, let's get started. So basically I will be asking you questions about one another. The other will think of the answer and you will need to find it. Let's start with Fitz, Sophie will you please go to the first place you could think of?" Tiergan asked.

I immediately think of my old house, I go there and hear Tiergan ask, "What is Sophie's favorite memory."

I think for a bit, then imagine the first time I felt loved in the elvin world. Then, as I know Tiergan will ask, I imagine a chest with multiple locks and lock it there. It takes Fitz about two minutes to find it. 

"Now Fitz, you must imagine a key to these locks, shape it just right and place it there." I felt a click in my mind and knew that he got in. "Sophie, it's your turn."

I gave Fitz a few minutes to imagine his favorite place and happiest memory, then I began to seach his mind. At the very back there was a small chest with numerous different locks, I instantly feed the locks with the correct keys and open it. His memory plays......

Fitz sat on a bench, holding the days newspaper. On the cover there was a big picture of her and Sophie instantly knew what this memory was. She saw herself walk by and Fitz's eyes following her. Then the scene got all red and she came back.

"Sophie, what did you see at the end?" Tiergan asked.

"I-I, uh, I saw the scene turn bright red and then I came back." I responded nervously. 

"Do you happen to know why?"

"Um, no."

"It turned red because you both were feeling the same feeling. Love." we both blush and quickly glance at each other. 

"Why hasn't this happen before?" Fitz asked, still staring deep into my eyes.

Tiergan responded, "Because you just passed the cognate exam."

"B-But I thought it was supposed to be so much harder." Fitz stuttered in amazement.

"What I told you to do wasn't the test, while you were doing it I searched through both of your minds. I tried to break the bonds that you both have made but it was too strong. You will both get the official certificates in a few days and you will both have once a week lessons with me going forward." Tiergan rambled.

Fitz and I left school hand in hand, no matter what happens I know I'll always have him.
