[Y/N's P.O.V.]

You were hanging out with your friend Gonta. You guys were searching for bugs. You enjoyed being around him, even if he was hard to understand.. since he talks in third person a lot.

But besides that, he was an amazing friend and nothing would change that... right?

You looked behind a tree, and found a ladybug, sitting on a leaf on the ground. You smiled and thought 'I should show Gonta this cool ladybug!' you carefully pick up the leaf and went towards Gonta. Suddenly, he quickly turned around and accidently hit me in the face with his hair. "Oh, sorry [Y/N], I didn't notice you their!" He gave me a worried expression. "Oh, no no no, it's okay Gonta. I shouldn't have snuck up behind you," I gave him a warm smile. "Did [Y/N] need something from Gonta?" He slouched down a little to my height, I was about [H/S]. Gonta was about 6'6"/198 cm.

"Oh! Right! Here, look! I found a adorable small bug!" I gave him a joyful smile as I showed him the leaf with the small ladybug on it. He gave me a big warm smile, "May Gonta take the leaf real quick?" he was very focused on the bug with his adorable shiny red eyes... wait, adorable? Do I like him more than a friend?

I felt my face heat up, "I uh, yea! You can take it." I looked to the side, trying to hide my face. I couldn't exactly see him, but I felt the leaf leave my hands, so I think he took it. I looked back at him, he had his usual cute loveable smile... Man, I really did fall for him. His hair looked so soft and fluffy, he had amazing red apple eyes, with a giant heart for bugs. He was perfect.

I felt someone poke my cheek, snapping me back to reality. "Is [Y/N] okay? You've been staring at Gonta for awhile, mumbling things to your self about something being fluffy and.. red apples??" he looked at me a bit confused and curious. I felt my face heat up again. "OH UM... S-sorry, I uh.. was um... thinking about... fluffy kittens and bright red apples!" I did a nervous smile. "Is [Y/N] hungry? Gonta can go get [Y/N] something to eat!" Gonta was about to put down the leaf but then I stopped him. "A-Ah no, I'm good. I'm not really hungry. I just think of lots of random things."

He got back up,  "Oh, okay. Then can [Y/N] and Gonta sit by that tree?" He pointed at the large tree nearby. "Oh, of course Gonta. I'm getting a little tired to from all that bug searching." I did a small smile. Was Gonta.. blushing? He grabbed my hand gently and held the leaf with the little lady bug on it with his other hand. We sat by the tree close next to each other. I was was staring at the ladybug on the leaf, not knowing what to do. But then I felt something soft peck my cheek. I look what was so soft that pecked my cheek, and I realized... GONTA WAS KISSING ME ON THE CHEEK?!

"A-Ah! G-Gonta's sorry! He just t-thought [Y/N] looked so cute a-and handsome that Gonta just h-had to give [Y/N] a-a small.. k-kiss" He looked to the side with a a bright pink blush on his face. "I-It's o-okay Gonta.. u-um.. I-I've been wanting to s-say something anyways.. I..." wait, should I tell him? Like.. he DID give me a small kiss on the cheek.. But that could also just Gonta being a innocent gentlemen..

"What were you gonna say? Are you okay, [Y/N]? You seem a bit disappointed.." he rose his hand and gently rubbed my back. It was very soothing. "I-I... n-nevermind. I'm good.." I looked back down at the grass. "W-Well.. um.. G-Gonta has s-something t-to say.. M-May Gonta tell [Y/N]?" He spot softly and nervous. "Sure! What's up, Gonta?" I looked up into his bright, handsome apple red eyes. His blush went brighter again. "U-Um.. A-Are... Gentlemen a-allowed to like.. other gentlemen? When Gonta means like, he means.. l-love" I sat there for a moment and remembered that there was something where two men liked each other. "um.. Yea, men who love each other are usually called "gay", it's a pride in a group called LGBTQ+" I warmly smiled. "W-Well um... d-does.. d-does [Y/N] happen to also l-like men?" He looked down at the ground, seeming a bit nervous. "Hm... I never really sat down and thought about it to be honest.." I sat there for a moment and looked at the sky.

"..G-Gonta l-likes a certain guy" I looked back at Gonta. I was glad that Gonta DID like men.. but he already likes someone else.. "Oh, cool! Who is it, if it's okay if I ask?" I did a small smile as I waited for a response. "G-Gonta... u-uh... G-Gonta likes... [Y/N]" his face began to look like a bright hot pink. "You.. l-like me?" I felt my face heat up like a fire are a campsite. "Y-Yes. It's okay if [Y/N] doesn't l-like Gonta back. He just wanted to at least let [Y/N] know.." he looked down at the ladybug. His eyes looked like they were getting watery. "I... I love you too" I lightly grabbed on to his empty hand. "R-Really?!" He looked up with a big smile, but still with tears in his eyes. "Y-Yea, I've been too nervous to tell you, Gonta. I deeply care and love you. Your just have the biggest heart for everyone, the most beautiful red eyes, and your hair looks so soft, and-" It took me a moment to realized I was going on and on about him. "W-Well, you know what I mean. Your the most amazing, gentlemen to ever exist." I smile as I look deeply into his eyes.

He slowly put the left on the floor and tackled me into a big hug. "Yayyy! [Y/N] loves Gonta back!" I heard him yell in joy. I pat his back and smiled happily. "Does this mean [Y/N] will be Gonta's Boyfriend?!" Gonta looked down at me with a big smile. I felt my face become hotter. "Y-yea! Of course I will!" I did a wide smile. He went back to hugging me tightly, it almost felt like my arms and ribs were gonna snap. We both heard a loud crack noise-

"AAAAHHHHHH, GONTA'S SORRY. GONTA DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT LOVEBUG!" He picked me up bridal style and began run towards the school. "G-Gonta! I-I'm fine, my arm just popped a little!" I tried telling him but he kept running to the school. I love him so much :)

[AAAAAAAAA, this took my so lonnnggggg. I forgot to finish this book and I feel like I had notes for this oneshot already- Anyways, I hope you enjoyed! Bye :)]
