My Hero (the wedding)

Hey y'all so here is the wedding!! Characters belong to that person who wrote Harry Potter...

Hermione POV:

I'm standing in the room waiting to go and get married to my Ron Weasley. The happiest day of my life, next to him proposing and shagging, but I can't help wonder if but I can't help wonder if HE is making the right decision.

I love Ronald Weasley with all my heart but what if he realizes he can do better? I mean what am I? The book worm who is annoying! I start walking back and forth around the room until I hear a nock. "Come in" and then I see a ginger girl walk into the room.

"Hermione are you okay?" Ginny asked looking worried.
"I'm fine honestly!" I say not convincing her.
"Hermione look I love you and your my sister but if your having second thoughts about Ron...I will throw you out that window." She says with a smile but I don't think she's kidding.
"NO!" I say almost too quickly "no" I say more calmly, "I love Ron more then anything in this life! I would do ANYTHING for him, but..." I pause.
"But..?" Ginny asks
"But what if he finally comes to his senses"I spit out quickly
"Pardon me?" Ginny asks with her eyebrows raised "comes to his senses about what?"
" that he deserves better then me! I mean honestly! He could do so much better! He could find someone prettier,funnier,someone who doesn't work a lot, who cooks better, who doesn't nag him all the time, a woman who actually likes and understands quidditch, and someone who isn't a brainy bookworm? He deserves a princess and I'm NO princess!" I have tears in my eyes cause I'm scaring myself .

Ginny looks at me for a little while then says "Mione all those things you just said are the reasons Ron is bloody mental about you, he loves that you read, that you nag him, that you don't always understand quidditch because every time he explains it to you, you get this really confused look on your face and honestly it's bloody adorable. Hermione Jean Granger soon to be Weasley, you are ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Every time you walk in the room his eyes fall on YOU and you can just see the love he feels for you! You are a princess and he is the sidekick." Ginny finishes
"Hero" I say looking at the floor then to Ginny "he's the hero. Not the-boy-who-lived best friend, or the sidekick, he's the Hero. MY Hero" I walk over to her and give her the biggest hug possible then we start my finishing touches to my look!

The second I start to walk down the isle my eyes immediately lock with Ron's. He has the biggest smile on his face and I can't help but giggle quietly as I fall in love ALL over again!

I am wearing a beautiful silver white veil trailed down the back of my hair and down to the floor. My bushy brown hair was tied up in a half ponytail and was curled into beautiful waves that cascaded off of my shoulders. The snow white dress hugged my petite waist and the bottom half was beautifully layered with soft petticoats...I almost felt like a princess!

My father finishes walking me down the isle and gives me a kiss on the cheek then hands me over to Ron.

Ron takes my hand and whispered to me "you look so beautiful" and I smile back "you look so handsome" and he gives out a small laugh.

When we stop Kingsley starts the ceremony and at that very moment I finally felt relaxed. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join Ronald Bilius Weasley and Hermione Jean Granger in matrimony. Today, we are celebrating the uniting of two people in this way that proclaims, in public, what was decided in the private corners of the heart. It proclaims the couple's belief that they are meant to be together, and that they are ready to embrace the future together. If anyone has any objections towards this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace." Of course no one said a word, then Kingsley continued.

"In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife. They will now recite their vows to each other."

I watch as Ron takes a pice of parchment out of his pocket, stare at it then hand it to Harry.

I knew there was a reason I fell in love with him! He has such a way with words. I giggle a little bit as he says his vows, I am completely in love with Ronald Weasley! I have tears falling down my cheeks  but a huge smile on my face! The fact that he also had tears down his face remind me, for the millionth time that day, why I love him SO much! He calls me his princess and for the first time I actually felt like a princess! When he's done with his vows we are both crying but with tears of love and joy!

"Hermione Granger it is now your turn to say your vows" Kingsley states after giving Ron and I a moment to wipe our tears.

This is it this is the moment I confess my love for him to the world, and I couldn't be happier! Ginny sneaks her arm around to hand me my parchment but I push her arm away and continue to stare into Ron's eyes.

"Ronald." I stop and giggle for a split second because gosh dang it I'm just so happy! I take a deep breath and start over, "Ronald Weasley, I have loved you from the moment I saw you. When I walked into that compartment on the Hogwarts Express asking if Harry or you have seen a toad and looked into those beautiful blue eyes I knew you would be part of my life in some way because I couldn't stand the thought of never looking in those eyes again. On that Halloween night so many years ago my life changed FOREVER. I finally got you to be my friend because at the time I wanted that more then anything!"

Ron gives me that AMAZING lopsided grin and I think my heart exploded right there. After a second I continue to speak my beautiful words to him.

"Then one day we had to do something very dangerous at such a young age. We faced many scary challenges that day but NOTHING scared me more then hearing you say you were going to sacrifice yourself. I was so scared because I thought I would never look into those beautiful blue eyes again. The second you were hit, m-" I had to stop because I remember being so scared that day. I had a few tears down my face and Ron reaches his hand up and wipes them off and gives me a look of determination and love. I take deep breath and continue.

"My heart stopped. Later that night we were in the hospital wing and I woke up remembering the events and immediately ran over to your bed. You were asleep and I got nervous but saw that you were breathing. I yelled at you a little, of course, and then next thing I knew, I was kissing your cheek and calling you "my hero.""

I bit my lip to try and contain the tears that just won't stop falling and continue my vows "As the years went on we went on MANY MANY adventures as a trio but for some reason you affected me different then Harry," someone wolf whistles and everyone started laughing and I blush like there is no tomorrow and Ron's ears are as red as a tomato.

"That's NOT what I meant!" I giggle and everyone starts laughing again. As the laughing stops I try to contain myself and continue "Every time you smiled, laughed, or ran your fingers through your hair my heart stoped. I realized I fancied you our third year of school and fell in love our sixth year of school. Then one day while we were camping, we were captured and the crazy witch said she wanted to keep me."

I notice Ron's body tense and squeeze his hand then continue "I heard you beg her to take you instead and when she denied and threw you in the cellar you continued to yell for me and keep me sane with your voice. The next thing I remember I was waking up in your arms at Shell Cottage recalling the events that took place that day. I had never felt so loved before in my life. I was once again kissing your cheek and calling you my hero." Tears are now DRIPPING of both our faces and I take a deep breath as I begin to wrap up my vows.

"You Ronald Weasley have been the bravest man I have ever met and I could NEVER ask for anyone better then you because you Ronald Weasley are," I stand on my toes and kiss his cheek then look into his eyes and say "My Hero."

AHHHH SO THATS IT! Sorry for taking so long but I was so nervous with what I was going to do with it, I knew I wanted to write the wedding but I didn't know how to go about it! I really hoped you enjoyed and I will be writing more one-shots/stories soon!!
