𝒮𝓊𝓂𝓂𝑒𝓇𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒 𝐹𝑜𝓃𝒹𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈

𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜

(Y/N) was so excited for this summer, she's been waiting for years for this summer to arrive. Ever since (Y/N) was a little girl she's been going to this summer camp called camp Gold Arrow, everytime she went she had the best memories made. She made tons of friends and the counselors were always nice. Once (Y/N) found out a few years ago that she could sign up to be a counselor there for the summer she instantly knew she wanted to do it. This summer (Y/N) and her best friend Claire were going to finally be counselors instead of campers this summer, and they were both so excited.

(Y/N) was so excited for tomorrow and began to pack for her long summer she had ahead of her. As (Y/N) was folding some of her clothes her phone rang it was Claire calling.

Claire: "Hey Y/N are you ready for tomorrow!"

"Yeah I am, I am so excited Claire but also a bit nervous to be honest." Y/N said with a slight sigh

Claire: "Oh c'mon Y/N what are you so nervous about?"

I paused for a moment and gazed off looking at my suitcase overflowing with clothes and supplies then I heard Claire yell my name and I broke out of my gaze focusing back on Claire's voice. 

Claire: "Hello? Y/N what's wrong?"

"I'm just nervous Claire about being a counselor for the first time. What if I'm horrible and you know how shy I am Claire me and you are not going to know any of the fellow counselors what if they hate me?"

Claire: "Oh Y/N don't worry too much you'll be a great counselor! Besides, we took training, remember? And I'm sure the other counselors would love to meet you. I promise you we're going to make tons of friends with the other counselors just like we did as campers with other fellow campers. Besides Y/N i'll be there with you and I'll be there whenever you need me."

"Thank You Claire you're the best you really are." Then I heard Claire laughing all of a sudden "Why are you laughing?"

Claire: "Do you remember how every year when we went to camp I'd always push you off the dock into the lake in the middle of nowhere and you'd start shouting at me and you'd run out of the water like a maniac." Claire said while almost running out of breath because she was laughing so much.

"Yeah I do, was that very necessary?" Claire started laughing even more

Claire: "Okay says the one who put a frog in my sleeping bag on star gazing day."

I paused for a moment and thought back to that time. I could picture it all so clearly it was almost like I was reliving the moment once again. I remember Claire was all cuddled up in her sleeping bag in our tent staring at the stars and I picked up this giant frog and slipped it in her sleeping bag, as soon as she felt it she jumped up out of her sleeping bag and screamed the loudest i've heard her scream it almost sounded like she was getting murdered and I just fell to the ground curled up in a ball laughing. I started to laugh when Claire cut me off

Claire: "Don't worry I will be getting you back sometime this summer."

"Oh will you now?" I said with a smirk creeping across my face

Claire: "I will don't worry. Oh geez! We need to get to sleep Y/N it's getting late and tomorrow is our first day."

I glanced over and looked at my alarm clock sitting on my nightstand geez! It was 11:00 PM already Claire was right. We needed to get to sleep.

Claire: "Alright I'm going to head to bed Y/N and you probably should too goodnight."

"Goodnight." I said whilst getting under my cover.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
