There isn't any but it all started when scary announce that there is a fishing update. I was pretty excited but I got even more excited the fact that there will be a leaderboard( not yet come out april 26) but it was a couple days before the update.
This was when heaven was still alive and healthy(check out The story of Heaven and The Benchies for my details) scary8 came up to heaven and I randomly asked the question would you like to be so kind to add a fish that's references heaven(another story) and later to my surprise it came with a very suspicious pogchamp face.
Anyways when the fishing update came, I started to regularly fish and made a statistics for fun(in my tweet).I decided hey you know what I will fish 24 hours a week(tracked my my logs) and won't fish on update (some exception) and now I have a fever. Right now currently on April 26 I have 96 hours and later this update day with have 120 hours. That's right 120 hours in 5 weeks more than you thought right?. Anyways there isn't much to end the story as this is a lore book that will be updated every passing moment.
