The meeting

In what felt like hours you looked up to the clock on your desk. It was 11:30, it would take you about 20 minutes to get to lucifers palace anyway. So, you got up putting your book down, catching the attention of all 4 of your imps, and walked out of the room. As usual, all of them followed you. Down the corridor, through the hall and to the door. You stopped at the front door and turned around gracefully.

"I'll be leaving for the meeting now," you put your hands together and rested them on your legs, "and I will leave Lucy in charge once again. And remember you have my permission to take breaks and have fun!" You said kindly with a wide smile.

You all said your goodbyes and you went off to Lucifer's castle in you f/c limo.

As you sat there looking out the window with a straight face you wondered who was going to be at the meeting and if they would love you. Having people love you is a big thing to you since your a love demon. A love demon is not like a succubus. Far from it actually. It is more like a siren. Love demons have to gain love to turn it into energy.

It doesn't mean you have to do it for energy. But it can also be love from a friend. Though true love from a significant other is more stronger than one from a friend.

You were so lost in your thoughts, of what people would expect of you, that you didn't even notice that you were sitting in the meeting table while Lucifer addressed places with growing danger. It was the same since the last time you were at a meeting. It was like a news report but in person and specifically for overlords.

Since everyone was sitting you could tell who was there and who wasn't. You spotted a certain bird demon here, he sat a few seats down from you. There was one other you recognized as the radio demon.

"Is there any questions?" Lucifer asked, raising his eyebrow looking over all the overlords.

The room was silent, no one had a question in mind. You didn't want to be rude so you stayed quiet with all the rest.

"If that's the case, then meeting dismissed." He announced. He stood up and so did all the rest of the demons in the room.

You were outside of the building standing in front of your limo. You had accidentally made eye contact with the Radio Demon and now you were stuck staring at each other. Alastor was staring intently, while you were frozen, staring blankly. But that was quickly interrupted when Stolas excitedly jogged towards you. He also noticed the awkward situation and came in to break it.

"Y/n!! It's been so long!" He smiled, walking in between of you and Alastor. It broke the staring contest so Alastor looked away and went off.

"Hello Stolas." You said in your normal kind tone. "What is it you need?" You smiled and closed your eyes to water them.

He walked closer about 3 feet away from you.

"I was just wondering if you would like to spend some time with us?" He put his hands out to both of his sides like there was a crowd behind him.

"What do you mean?" You tilted your head.

"Well I heard, from a little bird, that your home was getting repaired...." he said, "so I was wondering if you would like to stay over for a month."

You raised your eyebrow. You knew when he was getting nervous and when he was hiding something, since you 2 had been friends since you got to Hell.

"Okay, what is it?" You asked wanting to know what he was hiding.

"Oh fine you caught me!" He sighed. You gave a little chuckle, "Until the repairs are done."

"What?" You whispered, shocked.

"Well, I was thinking you could stay in one of the guest rooms! But, then I remembered-" He stopped. He noticed your still shocked face, "What's wrong?"

Your face slowly turned into a warm smile, "I'm sorry Stolas, but I have to refuse. I'm behind on my work already and I don't think I have enough energy either."

You opened your limo door as Stolas exclaimed, "We already moved your work things there! Let's go!" He grabbed your hand from the door and pushed you into his limo. The car started and you were off to Stolas's palace. Once you were in his limo you were stiff, but you soon relaxed. Stolas was sitting next to you. You looked out the window, your eyesight fading. As soon as you knew it, you were asleep.
