,,What do you think where you are in 10years...?" Julia asked, while they were sitting on their second Date, and Hermione thought about it for a while... she thought about her last years, and what happened 10 years before, how could she then looking forward, and say she know what she will be doing in 10 years?!

Well... one idea is in her mind... a thought... a dream...

,,I think I'm working in my own shop, and when I'm coming home, there will be my wife sitting in our garden, dogs playing around with each other, and I will sit down next to her, holding her hand, while she is reading a book, or something like that."

Julia nodded, took her glass of wine and said: ,,Sounds kind of nice..."

,,You sound like you don't like that thought..." Julia nodded, saying: ,,I'm allergic to dogs. I know there are potions for that, but I never was that into potions, and I think dogs don't like me. Don't ask me why, but the last dog, I've met barked at me, and I just disapparated at the spot."

Hermione laughed, asking: ,,What about cats? I mean, I have one."

,,Cats have somehow the same effect on me, but I can live with them." She assured Hermione, before she continued: ,,What about your ex? Does he still talks to you?"

Hermione nodded: ,,Kind of. I mean he is the brother of my best friend, and even though he had ruined the relationship, we are still friends in a way. And also Harry is still befriend with him, and of course with me. But we don't insult each other anymore."

,,That's what I actually wanted to ask, sorry... I should have expressed myself better..."

,,No it's alright... what about you? What do you think where you stand in your life, in 10years?"

,,I knew you would be asking, but I seriously don't have any ideas... Perhaps sitting next to you, and a house elf had cooked for the both of us..."

,,I've told you, how I feel about that..." Hermione said softly, and Julia nodded: ,,Yes I know... what I've meant is... I would have asked our house elf before, very nicely of course..."

They continued their meal and Hermione went home afterwards, thinking about everything... she thought about Julia who was really nice, was working as an Auror, and even though she was really rich, she hadn't lost the ground underneath her feet, and she also likes books. Perhaps not as much as Hermione does, but she had brought her a book to their second date. And even though Hermione had invited her for their first date last week, Julia had had insisted on paying... of course Hermione wanted to argue, but she just told her, their second date would be one her...

They've met at work at the ministry, and during the first three years, they weren't really talking to each other... they were just meeting once or twice a day in the elevator, and it went out quite funny, because every time, Hermione almost missed the elevator, and wanted to just take another, Julia had been there, to held the door open.

It had actually started with such little coincidences, until Julia had suggested, that they should meet for coffee some day, and Hermione had agreed on that, telling herself, that this wouldn't be dating. It would have been just coffee...

Well... the one coffee turned into three a week, and finally Hermione had asked Julia out... and their first date had really been terrible. The both of them had been as nervous as it would have been their first date ever in their lives, but Hermione found out, that Julia just came out of a relationship, which ended up with her fiancé fucking another woman, and trust was really important for Julia. To which Hermione could only agreed.

Hermione had also told her, that she was dating Ron after the war, but it had ended as soon, as she had decided to repeat her seventh year two years after the war... she told her, that she wanted to start at St. Mungos, but that she then got a job offer from the Ministry, where she was still working for new laws for house elves, and that it went quite well, but Julia knew that already...

<~O~>

,,May I ask you something?" Julia asked her the next time, they met for dinner, and after a nod, she asked: ,,Are you speaking to Black?"

,,Yes of course... Andy is one of my closest friends, and she sometimes gives me discounts on books." Julia laughed, and said: ,,No, no. I wasn't talking about Andromeda Black. I was talking about Narcissa Black, that arrogant Bitch."

,,Why should I?! I really don't have anything to talk to her at all. Why are you asking?" Hermione asked, trying not to think about the last four anniversaries whose were hold in the Ministry. Because during those nights, she was talking to her friends, colleagues, but she was also watching Narcissa... she had just been watching the woman from across the room, realizing that she really had changed after the war... realizing that she wasn't any inch like her sister. She always had watched Narcissa talking, laughing, flirting with women and men, and sometimes she caught Narcissa leaving with a witch. But she had never talked to the older witch.

,,Because she is your boss, didn't you know?" Julia asked in a slight amusement, and Hermione really didn't know that. She got the job from a nice Wizard, who always just mentioned a Boss, but he also always had said, that their Boss is really busy, and that the Boss had agreed to offering Hermione the position.

,,No... I didn't know. I only know her as "the boss" nothing more." Julia nodded: ,,Perhaps it's better that way. And perhaps you should search for another Job. I mean... I wouldn't want to work for that person."

Hermione didn't agree to that, but she didn't tell her either... she just shrugged her shoulders, saying: ,,She's paying me well."

,,Of course she does..." Julia said, and Hermione could definitely hear the smugly undertone...
