Her aura had a slow pulsing sensation as her weakening heart echoed through her soul, she could see Yang above her tears flowing freely out of her lilac eyes and running down her cheeks. "Yang... don't... cry... you... look better... when... you... smile." Ruby said struggling to get the words through her lips and smiling weakly.

"How can I smile when you're dying?" Yang asked more tears running down her cheeks.

"Yang." Ruby struggled to get the words out, "We... knew... this... would... happen... sooner... or... later." Ruby said slightly coughing, "And... yang."Ruby asked.

"Yes, Ruby?" Yang said clutching rubys hand not wanting to let go.

"Promise... me," Ruby said.

"I promise. What is it?" Yang promised.

"Keep... smiling!" Ruby said smiling weakly again.

"You little trickster. Okay, I will." Yang said slightly smiling.

" Goodbye Yang, I love you." Ruby gasped for air to breathe those last words.

"Ruby," Yang said frowning, her tears now becoming a waterfall as she cried her little sister's name hoping for her to come back, but she was not coming back. Outside with the heavy rainfall, it appeared as though the world itself was mourning the loss of one of its children, of course, if you were to look through one of the hospital windows you could swear you saw a silvery figure hugging a blonde woman mourning the loss of someone precious to her.

1 Week Later Ozpins Office

"Ozpin." a ghastly voice called.

"Who's there?" Ozpin replied calmly.

"Rose." the voice said slightly clearer.

"Rose?" Ozpin said confused.

"Ah, here we are." a red-cloaked figure stumbled into existence.

"Ruby?" Ozpin questioned.

"Hey Ozpin, I'd like to take you on your offer now that I'm not dying." Ruby grinned, "Also I'll help you in your little war." Ruby said, making herself a cup of coffee.

"What war, miss Rose? May I ask." Ozpin asked hiding behind his coffee mug.

"Really Ozpin. People may be dead from that long ago, but the world never forgets. The world hasn't forgotten what you and Salem have done Ozpin, or should I call you by your real name?" Ruby said leaning herself over his desk.

"And what might my real name be perhaps, miss Rose?" Ozpin asked trying to play the innocent fool, and ruby grinned a toothy grin at this question.

"Ozma." Ruby said looking him in the eye, "You may be able to pull off this ignorance with someone who didn't know the matters that we do, but I am someone who knows the history of the world since the beginning of time itself, so please stop this foolishness right now." Ruby said now glaring at him.

"Alright, miss Rose you got me." Ozpin sighed, "How did come across this information?"

"Like I said." Ruby sighed, "The world never forgets."

"So what did you wish to discuss with me, Miss Rose? This discussion seems to have taken a turn elsewhere." Ozpin said, folding his hands in front of himself.

"My admission into Beacon of course!" Ruby sang, instantly turning back into the little girl he met at the police station.

"Miss Rose that isn't for another month," Ozpin replied chuckling.

"Well, I want to go with my sister to make sure she doesn't blow up the school before it even starts," Ruby stated.

"Alright, miss Rose, I will see you later." Ozpin said yawning and getting up from his chair, "Hmm, goodnight professor." Ruby said lying down on the couch in the corner of the room.

"Don't you have a home to go back to miss rose?" Ozpin asked.

"No, not really it would be kinda awkward if your family thought you were dead and then find out that you're sort of alive. Also, Yang has been sleeping in my bed lately, a sort of coping mechanism. Anyways see you in the morning professor!" Ruby called out after him as he walked into the elevator.

"Things are shaping up to be an interesting school year," Ozpin said, taking a sip from his coffee mug.
