The Edge of your Standards

The Edge of yours Standards (Chapter 1)

Class Orientation 

"I've got to rush because a couple of minutes I'll be late, I forgot to set my alarm" I shockingly said. 

"Mom what would i wear for the Orientation" I said continuing to rush, "Something formal maybe" Mom said. I've got no time so i picked a random outfit I could wear, "I guess it wouldn't be bad to wear something randomly" I said through my head. 

"Your meeting is now starting!" my sister Alex shouted. 

I really can't wait to see my friends again, but I'm still not ready to show my face to everyone. 

The teacher called me and said, "Can you introduce yourself to us?". I've got nothing to say but yes because I was sitting beside my mother *whispering through my head. "Yes" I said with a shaking voice. 

So I Introduced myself by simply saying my Full Name, My Age, and My family's Names.  I Turned my camera off as fast as i could after introducing myself and everything. I Told mom that I turned my camera off. "Open it now" She said imperatively. "Okay mom" I said, so i turned my camera on.

 After a few minutes, i scrolled through the list of students in my grade through my emails and saw my best friend. 

I messaged her ASAP and told her we were classmates, she surprisingly said "OMG, is this happening?!". "YES" i said. We can't stop talking about it. 

After a couple of minutes after we talked, my teacher called her because it's here time to introduce herself. She did the same thing as I, let us rewind what happened a while ago while we're talking at each other.... 

My teacher said Mysteriously "Sandy and Anjelika, what are you both doing huh?",  I straightly said "we were talking about us being classmates". "Yes" said Anjelika, "You can't use your phones during meetings" My teacher said. 

My mother was scrolling through her FB the whole time but she still supported me. 

After Hours... 

"How is the orientation?" Mom said, "It was quite good meeting all my classmates today, hope we'll all do well" I softly said. Everything didn't quite go as well as we planned this day, because the orientation blocked all our plans for that day. But at least i met a few new more students, I enjoyed  that day so much, as much as my friend did. I wrote everything in my Diary and the way i enjoyed this day and I also wrote how I'll achieve my dreams for all whole 4 quarters. And luckily no one noticed my outfit, how genius I am. 

Author's Note: It's true that I experience the Orientation and my mom sitting beside me, but the outfit and best friend thing is all just a story.
