16 Wishes - Bang Chan

Birthday Eve

Sun's POV:

I can't believe I'm going to be 16 tomorrow! I am actually really happy to have been here for the past 2 years. I came to this boarding school just after I turned 14 and they have been 2 of the happiest years of my life.

"Hey Sunny, wait up!" I hear a familiar warm voice call from behind me as I walk away from English. A smile creeps across my face. I can already see the 5'7", blonde curly haired, brown eyed boy who's about to attack me. Then I'm wrapped into a hug.

"Hi, Chan." He's still hugging me. He doesn't let go unless I say hi. Then his arms finally let go and I can breathe again. He walks beside me so we can walk together. "Hey isn't your class on the other side of school?"

Chan is a junior and I'm a sophomore. Him and my close friends all call me Sunny, it's their nickname for me. Sometimes he will randomly come over to this side of the building just to walk me to my classes. Chan is just sweet like that, he's always taken good care of me.

"Yes, but I want to spend the last day of you being 15 being able to tease you Sunny." He sticks his tongue out at me.

I stuck my tongue out back at him and punched him in the arm. Then he pulled me into a headlock but I was able to break free. We kept play fighting all the way down the hall to my next class. That's me and Chan's relationship in a nutshell.

Chan was the first person to ever talk to me here. He was always so nice to me but once we got more comfortable I saw how much of crackhead he is. I am too so we both just have a great time together. I think I've always been the closest with Chan since I got here.

***Time skip***

I walk into the lunch room and look for my usual table. There I see my 3 best friends: Chan, Hye, and Yugyeom. I've been friends with all 3 of them basically since I got here. Hye is the same age as me and Yugyeom is the same age as Chan.

I walk over to the table and start hearing bits and pieces of an argument.

"...but why would I date HIM?" Hye said in disgust. "I hate him you know I do plus he's so annoying and I could never stand him."

"Are we talking about Jisung?" I say as I sit down. Jisung is one of Chan's friends, he's the same age as me and Hye. He likes Hye but she is so set on hating him she won't give him a chance. They would be a cute couple and they are friends but she has refused to date him thus far.

"Yes actually, these two fools keep saying we would be a good couple. Sunny, please back me up here." She pleading me with her eyes.

"Oh you're 100% right, you two wouldn't be a good couple."

"THANK YOU!"

"You 2 would be a GREAT couple." She slaps my arm. Chan and Yugyeom lose it and give me a high five. I love Yugyeom's laugh so much. "But seriously why aren't y'all dating yet?"

"Because I would kill him."

"No you wouldn't. You just need to give him a chance and I think you might be surprised how much you guys have in common." Chan said.

"Well I could ask you and Yugyeom why you 2 aren't together yet." She said turning to me. My face turned 50 shades of red. I slapped her arm and awkwardly laughed it off. 

"Yeah, Sunny can you imagine us being a couple?" He laughed off the idea as well.

Truth is that I like Yugyeom. I've never told him out of fear for losing our friendship. But everything he does is attractive and he is so sweet. He likes to tease me but in a cute way and I am one of the only people he does aegyo for, which means I'm pretty special. Chan and Hye both know about it but I can't believe Hye would just expose me like that. Snake.
