Kai was running. Just running. A transparent figure quickly floated after him. This was...Unusual. You're probably confused, as I am to. So let's start from the beginning, shall we? A twenty three year old guy wakes up in his bed. He enjoys video games, walks on the beach and his modeling job. His name is Kai Choi. He's the second oldest Choi, though it wasn't always this way. He used to be the third oldest but...there was an accident. Though Kai didn't dare think of it as early as it was. "Geez. Five thirty in the morning-?" Kai said as he looked over at his alarm clock. He usually woke up much much later but I guess his body wants to wake up now? Kai grabbed a fresh outfit and went to go take a cold shower. Unfortunately his boyfriend used all the hot water earlier last night. Kai muttered a small angry comment about that and got in the shower.
After one long shower Kai got dressed. He put on his usual black jeans and a button up that looked like an old arcade carpet. Once he was ready he hid his one small horn in his fluffy half red half black hair. He then hid his small wings and tail in his shirt. "Ah. Normal for once." Kai said, recalling what he was. A demon. Kai was technically from hell, his siblings were too. Yet again it was a hard story to think about... Despite looking and being a demon of sorts he was a really kind fellow. On several occasions he's helped kids and teens out of hard home situations. But that's a topic for later in the story. Kai put on some shoes and walked out the door. He breathed a sigh of relief and took a moment to enjoy the bright early morning in Moon-Light Valley. It was a really small town with only the best of the best people. Most likely known as Ultimates. Ultimates are people who are the best of the best at one thing, there's only one ultimate of that certain thing so you really do have to be the best of the best. Kai on the other hand was the Ultimate Model. Ever since he was a kid he had a really big interest in fashion. He tried so hard to be the best at it, and he was. That landed him in a fancy school called Hope's Peak then to this town. It was a small quiet place in a valley and every full moon lit up the town at night. It truly was beautiful. Kai got on his motorcycle and drove over to his sister's coffee shop.
Then he was there. As always it was late. Kai waved to his sister and rested his head on the table. "The regular?" She asked him, smiling a bit. Kai muttered a tiny yes and she almost immediately had his Chocobee Miruku ready. Kai sat his head up and took a sip of the chocolatey drink. "Perfect as always Leif" Ah. You finally have a name for this girl. Leif. Leif Choi, The Ultimate barista's aid. Kai's younger sibling. Well. Younger by twenty minutes. When Ollie Choi, The Ultimate street fashion model died Kai and Leif were left without their third triplet. It's been hard for the two of them to deal with but oddly enough it helped them find themself. Kai finished his drink and gave Leif a pretty good tip. He sighed, The time was now Seven twenty in the morning. He hopped back on his motorcycle and drove to work.
Seven forty two in the morning, Kai is at work. A large photography studio filled with outfits and cameras. It was always a tad overwhelming walking in. All the people crowding around him and telling him what he had to wear for the day and when. But after a moment Kai gets used to it. He gets into the first outfit of the day and it starts...
Hours later, Two thirty five in the afternoon. Kai sighed. Work was over. It was time for his daily visit to the grave yard... He rolled in, A thick layer of fog covered the ground. He sat in his usual spot and closed his eyes. "You all can come out now." He said quietly. Nothing. No one. Kai opened his eyes and looked for his ghost friends. After a moment he realized Jae was next to him. Jae was a ghost girl, Very young. Too young in fact. She pulled at the sleeve of his pants. "M-Mr. Kai...They're all gone." She said, her ghost voice echoing throughout the empty graveyard.  After a moment of silence Kai looked down at the ghost of the toddler "Jae, what happened?" He asked, kneeling down to her level. Jae was about to talk when there was a loud boom "Sorry Mr.Kai. I gotta go..." And with that she faded till she was no longer there.
Kai took one last look around at the graveyard and got on his motorcycle. He followed the booms. It eventually led him to a large empty field. He looked around a bit, puzzled. After a while of looking he went home.
He rolled into the driveway and sighed. He slipped his helmet off and hung it on his usual coat rack. Kai wandered into the kitchen and grabbed a cup, he filled it with water and simply got lost in thought. What was going on in the town now? Was he gonna get hurt? Kai had so many questions running through his head. Is Jae okay? He sighed as the cup overflowed. He shut the water off and sighed. "I hope they're all okay. I really wanna help them all but I can't if I don't know what's happening. What am I going to do... It was late. Kai left his questions unanswered and went to go lay in bed. He went to go rest.
