Chapter 1
"Come on, Jordan!" Cassidy, my best friend and college roomate, hissed. "You look fanstastic and we're late!"
I checked myself over once more in the mirror, my green eyes scanning for a single thing out of place, and decided I'd do.
"Are you sure?" I asked, fishing for a compliment to boost my spirits.
Cassidy rolled her eyes and replied, "You know you look amazing, Jordan!"
"I know, I know." And I did look amazing.
And slutty.
As captain of The Phantom's cheerleading team, I played a role at college. And I loved that role.
All eyes turned my way as I passed the college hallway wearing my cheerleading kit proudly. I was the stunning, bubbly cheerleader with a halo of blonde hair, a hour glass figure and a pair of perky breasts that drew the eye in a demure way. I always had a bright smile on my face and every last cheerleader in my group always asked my opionion first.
I was the queen of the college who aced her exams dutifully and danced the night away on a weekend.
And of course, my role wouldn't be completed without the handsome quaterback boyfriend who had a glowing career ahead of him.
I was the girl everyone loved. I was the girl that everyone wanted to be. And I, Jordan Mae Cross, small town girl from Wisconsin who played the demure role of the vicars daughter, was finally free.
No more did play the role of a delicate Christian butterly, expected to marry god fearing church boy who was wealthy as well as handsome and birth god fearing children and hold my tongue and play the compliant wife who jumped to her husbands every command.
No, that was my mother and fathers life, along with my brother and sister. My dear siblings were the apple of our parents eye. Mary, the eldest of us three had already married a church going lawyer named James and she was pregnant with their first child. Peter, the middle sibling had just became a full-flegdged preist and my parents couldn't be prouder.
And I was always the outcast. The one who wriggled about in church bored, the one who got beat with a belt for being too pretty. My mother often called me the Devil's Whore.
I hated them all. Even my siblings watched as father cracked the belt against my back over and over again calling me wicked names. I feared breathing in my own home in case father became mad and hit me. I'd always look towards my siblings to protect me.
And I learnt to act accordingly to avoid the belt, covering myself from head to toe, hiding in the shadows of my brother and sister. And every night I prayed, much to my mother and fathers delight.
If only their knew that I prayed to get away from this damning town.
And my prayers were answered when I ran away to college and finally freed myself.
I, Jordan Mae Cross, had broken free of that life and out burst a wild girl who'd been shackled to a cross for too long!
And because of my freedom, I coated myself in make up, wore short skirts and thrust my breasts out. I flirted and teased and did things that would make my mother and father cower with disgust - such as dance on a table just so boys could see the colour of my underwear.
I acted the bubbly cheerleading slut because I could. Though, I'd never been brave enough to actually give up my virginity to my boyfriend no matter how much he begged and demanded me to.
