Chapter 1: intro

Authors pov:
There they were, sitting next to their lover, looking so happy, but that's only what met the eye. The truth is that they hadn't felt like themselves in months; they felt empty. Nothing made sense anymore. They wondered why they kept fighting for a relationship that had died a long time ago.

Then there was him, the boy that just wanted to love them. He stared at them as they laughed uncontrollably. His ocean like eyes full of envy, sadness, and rage. He wished it was him next to them; he wanted to be the reason they smiled, but he knew it wasn't possible. "Why? Why can't you notice me y/n?" He wondered to himself.

The truth was that y/n was dating armins best friend, eren jeager. He knew it was wrong to love them, after all him and armin had been best friends since they were kids, but he didn't care. Armin knew that y/n was suffering because of eren. He knew they're relationship had become toxic, to the point where it was ruining them.

No matter how much armin advised them to break up with eren, they never listened. It's not like y/n depended on eren, or needed him to be happy, they just didn't know how to end it. It was hard for them to let go, specially after you've spend such a long time with a person.

In all honesty y/n was quite conceded. They had to exceed in everything, even if it was something as simple as a relationship. They couldn't admit to themselves that they had failed to maintain their relationship. Mf calm down with your "I can change him" complex and shit 🤨.
