I could not believe my eyes, It was Maddy. Just like Sam, Maddy became my best friend in JK. Me, Sam,and Maddy, also known as the three musketeers,have been friends ever since . I mean till grade 9 that is. After grade 9 she told us she was moving to Spain, were her parents are from. And i never expected her to come back.''MADDY?" I ask as if  don't believe she is standing right next to me.

" YUP , that's me."

"You....how...what.."I didn't know what to say.

"Are you gonna stand there and ask questions or are you gonna give you old pal a hug?"

Without hesitating i jumped on my best friend, giving her a hug.

" ahh ....Kate...I don't know if you noticed but I am about to fall" Maddy said struggling to keep herself up.

"Oh I'm so sorry, it's just I can't believe your here. " I said not able to get the grin off my face.

" By the way, not to sound mean or anything but why are you here." I tried my best not to offend her.

"Well... remember I told you about 3 years ago that I am going to Spain because my parents  opened a new business." I nodded. "Well that business did not turn out to be a success at the end, so my parents decides to move back to Cali." 

'' I'm... I'm so sorry about that"

" Its no biggie. And to tell you the truth i really didn't like the store myself." I just chuckled. Maddy hasn't even changes a bit from the last time i have seen her. 

As i looked behind myself i noticed Sam was heading towards us. I elbowed Maddy's arm, telling her that Sam was coming. 

" Kate i was wondering if you did you math homework, so i can copy y.............." Sam did't finish her sentence, when she noticed Maddy was standing right in front of her.

" Uhhh... haven't i seen you before?" she asked Maddy

Maddy gave her a glare,'' are you serious?"

"Wait are you Maddy?"

"What do you think?'' Maddy said in disbelief.

Without thinking Sam was on Maddy, wwhile Maddy was struggling to pick her up" Sam..... Sam ..... SAMANTHA PARKER GET OF  ME RIGHT NOW!"

" Same old Maddy. You haven't even changed a bit.'' Sam said while chuckling

"Thanks.''

" That wasen't a complement.''

''Shut up.''

'' Why wont you.''

" OK that's enough guys.'' I said interrupting them. My friends are all so weird. Not that i have any other friends.

The bell rang and we all had to go to class. " What class you you guys have first period?'' i ask them.

''Chemistry" Maddy said 

''Art'' Sam said. Wait what?

" But you hate art. Like hate it" i said in shock. 

'' No i don't.''

''Wait is it because of.." i looked both ways to see if anyone is around us."Jake.''

"What ... noooo.." I Glare at her knowing she is lying. "OK fine maybe i am"

" WHAT! You still have crush on Jake. I always thought you got over him." Maddy said trying to get on her nerves. 

"Why I'm gonna.."

''Ok that enough chit chatting, now lets head to class" I pushed Sam to the direction ,were the art class was.

"Bye Bye." Maddy said, while waving at Sam.
