It was another normal day in the world until it was announced that the world is gonna end in about a year from now.
Aesop called Andrew, "Hey Andrew you saw the news right?"
"Yea.."
"Wanna go and uh run away together? Since the world is ending in like a year."
"Thats seems like a nice idea Aesop, so sure!"
"Alright, grab all your stuff that you need, I'll pick you up in 2 hours. Let's head off to a forest thats near that valley area."
"Alright, I'll go do it now."
[Andrew ended the Call]
Andrew gathered his phone, plushies, clothes, diary, sketch book, lotion, books and his special belongings.
Aesop brought his dog and his other stuff.

Aesop arrived at Andrew's Apartment.
"Oh hey Aesop, can you help me bring all this your car?"
"Oh sure"
"Thank you Aesop"
"No problem Andrew,"
"By the way, I brought Twig(Aesop's dog) with me."
"Oh nice!"
As they put Andrew's stuff in Aesop's car. It was a 1 hour drive and Andrew had fallen asleep when they got to the forest.
"Hey Andrew, wake up we're here,"
Andrew tiredly got up.
"You remember when we first got here and found that small house? It might be there still so we can try getting all our stuff over there, and from what I remember the house just needs some cleaning."
"Mhm," Andrew said tiredly.
They had to take multiple trips to get their stuff to the cottage in the woods. When they were finally done bringing everything in they started to cleaning up the area, surprisingly it wasn't as dirty as it was before. The beds were still in good shape as if someone recently used to be here.
"Hey, I'm gonna go to the nearest store to get stuff to live here, like blankets, food and other things? I have pots and pans already packed."
"Alright, I'll be exploring the area more since its been awhile since we've been here."
"Okay, bye! I'll be back soon"
"Bye,"

"Hey I'm back Andrew!"
"Mk, by the way I found a river nearby."
"Oh cool"
Aesop put the food in the pantry and fridge. The cottage was made in a clearing of the forest, there was light in that area. The house was solar powered so the electricity worked. Andrew was making food for him and Aesop while Aesop was feeding Twig some food.
"Hey Aes?"
"Yeah, what is it Andrew?"
"Can you promise me that you will stay with me until the end?"
"I promise that I will stay with you until the end, don't worry, you are my best friend after all."
"Thank you Aesop.."
"Your welcome Andrew"
And thats the end of chapter 1, hope you enjoyed it! I already somewhat have the plot ready. I mostly have ideas for the ending and chapter 3. Please take not that this book would have some angst. I have an edmike fanfic on my other account but I forgot about it and now I am here making this fanfic.
