Chapter 1

Shanaya's POV

"yeah mom, I just reached the Coffee shop"

"No mom, I just reached means I just parked my car, I didn't enter the coffee shop"

"I don't know why you are even asking me to meet him when I'm least interested in marriage now" I huffed and removed my seatbelt.

"Shanu, he said he want to talk to you about something before saying his decision and may be you would even be interested in marriage after talking to him" my mom said in other end of the call.

"Maybe, maybe not. Let's see"

"Ok listen, did you see his pic which I gave you?", My mom questioned me.

"Yeah mom, I did" I lied because I was really busy and also no matter what I'm not going to accept this marriage so why even bother seeing his pic, it's not like I will accept after seeing it but if I say this to Mom then I will get an earful, so it's better to not tell the truth.

"You didn't see his pic right" my mom sighed.

I was shocked hearing her.

"Mom..I was busy last night so I didn't get time to see his pic"

"No excuses Shanu, I exactly know why you didn't see the pic" from her voice I can clearly tell she is angry

"I...", I tried to say something to cool her anger but she interrupted me.

"He is gonna come in blue shirt. I know you will do something like this today so I called him in the morning and asked him the color of his shirt he's gonna wear today."

"Ok mom. I.." she again interrupted me

"Shanu it's time. He might have come already it's 10 minutes past 4. He said he will come at sharp 4pm. Now don't waste your time sitting in the car and go inside the coffee shop soon. Go go" she started shooing me

"Ok ok mom. I'm going im going!!" I said and hanged up the phone.

I saw my reflection in the car mirror and sighed I don't know what I'm gonna say but I'm determined that only after 2 years I will think about marriage maybe if he likes me he will wait for me. I sighed again and got down the car.
