Brynn Peters was known for taking things for granted. Even though she had a great family, amazing friends, and a life that others would kill for, she was never satisfied. Brynn always thought that life would always remind the same, no matter what you did to change it. She was always going to be an average student at school. Her parents are always going to lie to her about her past. And she was always going to be hopelessly in love with her best friend Stiles even thought he only has eyes on the most popular girl in school.

But everything changed bringing the summer before Brynn's junior when her mother tell her some interesting news. The large Peters house is finally going to be filled with life since her Mom's brother Chris, and his family were moving in. Brynn's mother had never told her anything about her family, and now that Argents were coming. She was determined to find out what secrets they were hiding. Even if that meant risking her new friendship with her new cousin, Allison.

And things get even worse when Brynn releases that Beacon Hills, the small town where nothing happens, isn't filled with sunshines and rainbows. They went out looking for a dead body, but her other best friend, Scott McCall gets bitten by a werewolf. After that, Brynn, Stiles, and Scott start uncovering so many supernatural secrets that are hidden under the normalcy of the small town.

But as secrets come to the surface, Brynn starts to release that her family might have more to do with the supernatural world than she thought. And as she continues to fall more and more in love with Stiles, what will the broken girl do to get her hands on what she wants.
