For the past couple of weeks Jenny,Jeff,and Lila have worked hard on helping Kevin.he eventually got better and was able to leave the institution,he unfortunately thought had to be sent to a foster home.he tearfully said goodbye to Lila,she was more emotional than him.when he left Lila wondered if this was the last time she'd see Kevin,fortunately(well technically unfortunately)she'd be seeing Kevin again soon.
Lila's pov
I was reading chapter 8 of the Outsiders,but it didn't feel the same without Kevin beside me curiously listening to me reading it out loud to him.i sighed and closed the book,I missed him:I missed him a lot."Lila we need to go,now."aunt Jenny said as she entered the room,"why?whats going on?"I asked."it's Kevin."she said,I widened my eyes and immediately got up.i followed her out of the house and to the car,she drove us to the new institution Kevin was in.while the people there explained to us what happened(and led us to where he was)I was really worried about him,when we got to his room Kevin was sitting against the windowsill of a barred up window.
"Kevin,Kevin it's me:Jenny."aunt Jenny said,Kevin didn't say a word."oh no,this must've really effected him."I thought,aunt Jenny and I looked at each other."I brought Lila with me Kevin."aunt Jenny said,that got Kevin's attention.he turned his head and looked at me,I gave him a reassuring smile and a gentle wave.he got up,walked towards me,and hugged me tightly."W-woah!I missed you too Kevin."i said,gently hugging him back.I managed to look at aunt Jenny,who gave me a worried look.
This was going to be a lot of work
