Something was buzzing. . .
It was Saturday, so why was her alarm going off?
With a groan, Park turned herself over and reached a hand out to stop her alarm clock from singing any longer. She swat the button, but realized it wasn't pressed in the first place. Upon opening her eyes, she noticed it wasn't her alarm clock that made the noise. She quickly grabbed her phone and unlocked the screen.
[From: Kazemaru] : Good morning Park! Are you busy today?
Park stared at the text message with a blank face. She hadn't responded to the messages from yesterday, maybe that made Kazemaru more worried, which caused him to text again. She let out a small sigh.
[From: Park] : good morning!! i'm not busy today. what's up?
[From: Kazemaru] : I was wondering if you wanted to hang out.
[From: Park] : sure! i'll get out of bed real quick lol
[From: Kazemaru] : Take your time. I'll wait for you outside your house, is that okay?
[From: Park] : that's alright! i won't take too long, I promise. see you soooooon
[From Kazemaru] : See you soon!
Park didn't want to hang out, but she also didn't want to be mean and turn him down. Who knows, Maybe she'll end up having a good time. She still wasn't in the best mood, so maybe she needed this. She'll have to thank Kazemaru later.
The white haired girl got out of bed and went to get cleaned up.
However Kazemaru managed to muster the courage to ask Park to hang out with him - the teal haired boy had no idea. He stood outside Park's front door up on the porch, anxious as all hell. Park was a nice girl, so what was he so afraid about? He wanted to make sure she was doing okay, because yesterday she looked so sad. Like a mother, Kazemaru worried for the girl.
The long haired boy wore a simply white t-shirt, and blue jeans. The weather was nice, so he didn't need a jacket. Although he was suddenly self-conscious about his outfit choice. Maybe he should have dressed a little fancier to impress her. . . Wait, this wasn't a date!
Suddenly, the front door opened. Kazemaru was expecting to see Park, but instead it was a much older woman with short black hair parted in the middle. She had pretty chocolate coloured eyes and perfect skin. The woman wore a long, light blue dress with a collar, and a short white scarf knotted around her neck.
The lovely Kim.
"Can I help you?" Kim asked, a little bit confused as of to who the hell Kazemaru was and why he was standing at the front door.
"O-oh, uh. . . I'm waiting for Park." Kazemaru responded nervously. "I'm her friend from school and the soccer team, my name is Kazemaru Ichirouta. Are you her mother?" He was oblivious as of to the fact that Kim didn't like hearing that question at all. She also didn't like answering it either.
"No, I'm her grandmother. My name is Park Kim-Sun, but you're free to just call me Kim, or Sunny!" The dark haired woman chirped, answering as easily as she could. "Mio is upstairs getting ready, she slept in a little bit late today. Come inside honey!"
Kazemaru was given no time to protest, because Kim already pulled him inside. It's not that he minded, he was just really nervous.
"Take a seat." Kim brought him into the living room. "You can wait for her inside."
"Thank you, Kim." Kazemaru smiled gently at the woman, before sitting down on the plush sofa. He was quite impressed at how beautiful the house was - but that was to be expected from a girl like Park. At least that's what he thought.
