I glare at the young boy sat next to me as the plane takes off, 'he has no idea how lucky he is to be human, stupid kid', I think to myself.
"Why are you so pale?" Asks the boy.
I fix my posture and reply, "I'm naturally pale, please don't talk to me again." He stares at me warily and then turns back to his colouring book.

Two hours have passed and I'm beginning to feel an uncomfortable sensation rising in me, thirst. "Not now" I mutter to myself. How am I supposed to stay composed when I'm in a plane full of people? I notice a flight attendant walking briskly down the isle to my right. "Miss, do you know how long it is until we land?" I ask her, fighting the urge to sink my teeth into her arm. She smiles down at me apologetically and tells me there's still an hour left of the flight. Great.

I lock the toilet door and stand in front of the small, dirty mirror above the sink. Staring at my face, I notice my contacts are dissolving rapidly. Why do my eyes have to be so noticeable? I find one pair of brown contacts in my pocket, and slip them into my eyes carefully.

Worry is all I feel now, how am I supposed to wait another 45 minutes until I can hunt whatever roam the forest in forks? I realise I'm still breathing, though there's no point anyway. I decide to stay locked in here until we land, and then sneak through security as fast as I can. That's manageable, right?
