The cold wheatear emerged this morning, from five o'clock in the morning it was freezing cold. I shivered, I went to check up on Thomas who was all cuddled up shivering worse then I am. I carried him towards my room to where it's much more warmer then his. I placed him right in between Zach and I, yawning and falling back asleep with Thomas in my arms all cuddled up.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Morning" He stretched
"five more minutes" I groaned for more sleep
He laughed at me jumping on the other side and cuddling up with us, I smiled going back to that short five minutes of sleep. Comforting.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Pancakes with m&ms for the one and only Thomas" I placed a plate in front of Thomas as he starts praying for the food, he never fails to amaze me
I looked over at Zach who was doing the same, I closed my eyes and followed. Thomas has brought us closer together and to god, amazing how it could be.
We all huddled up around the fireplace, the heat just perfect against our skin warm and satisfying.
We watched old disney movies, princess or not.
"Ice cream" I smiled huddling back towards them
"Aren't you cold?"
"Yeah, but when we were little we'd eat ice cream in front of our fireplace while watching Audrey Hepburn movies" I ate on
Whenever I'm feeling down I grab some ice cream and I feel all better, it works a lot. It works all the time.
It is as raining and the worse part is I don't have an umbrella but luckily I did wear my windbreaker today. I sighed and shivered, I called up uber but i cancelled since they'll be arriving in an hour and then I called up lyft they haven't showed in two hours. Wow what a day, a rainy day this couldn't be worse can it? My sister Chanelle and Pia gave me a call
"Hey so uhm one of your branches of your store in California kind of uhm.... some drunk driver crashed into it and it lit on fire during the night" Chanelle slowly broke it
I started to tear up, my heart broke "Oh dear god. Is everyone okay? Did any of 'em get hurt?"
"No, No. I am so sorry Oli. This must be bad, how are you?" She questioned worried of me
"Well it's raining and I have no umbrella or ride and my car broke down last week and I'm supposed to get a new car today but oh great the rain and my store" I sobbed
"What are you looking at?" I sassed at a man who turned right around
"I gotta go" I shook my head
I ran across the street to get some ice cream, people stared at me I was soaking wet and shivering cold I needed it to make me feel better.
but sometimes it doesn't work.
I stepped outside, well actually I had no choice.... I was kicked out because I was dripping all over the place
"Oh joy" I sat on the corner of the street eating ice cream not minding the people stare at me and the paparazzi's capture my misery I didn't do anything about it.
"This day couldn't get any better" I whispered to myself
A car stopped a few blocks away and out came a running Zach. He put his hood on and looked at me, smiling and laughing at the same time
"You're really depending on the ice cream? It's pouring and your soaking wet" He laughed hugging me tightly
"My store in SoCal is broken, i have to be in a meeting in two hours and this is how my afternoon went, terrifyingly horrible I just wanna call off my meetings for today even it's the Rome
fashion week that we're talking about" I slouched in his arms
"Oh babe don't give up, lets get you cleaned up and set for your meeting okay? You'll be fine it's only a bad day not a bad life" Zach kissed my wet forehead
We ran in the car and he came prepared with towels covering the whole entire passenger side, how considerate.
I got home and saw a mess in the living room "You left Thomas alone?" I questioned again
"Hey it was an accident I forgot about the baby" Zach smiled dryly
"But Tom okay" Thomas gave a thumbs up
"Yeah you are but not my chocolate covered living room, oh my we need new couches and carpets and pillows oh Thomas" I stretched his cheeks
I got back home for the second time from my Rome Fashion Week that'll happen in a month and I am most pleased that they asked me to come join them, I bent down and picked up one of Tom's battle ships and started to play with him.
Coming home after a stressed day and being with the two that most makes you happy is stress relieving.
I was stressing over my speech kind of late since I'll be giving the speech today.
Thomas came in followed by Zach I sighed, the kind of sigh with joy and relief they brought me roses. I clicked a few pictures for the people to see. Thomas carried one rose with a plastic surrounding it and an even bigger group of roses from Zach, i read the note that the two each made for me.

You never really gave up from our first date to our recent one, you always try to have your day - our day flaw less you try so much to make it perfect and you don't need to ever because having you is perfect enough.
