There was a boy, who greeted sunrises and followed sunsets, sitting on the housetop of his home. Who was different from the others, who prefered watch every second of sun beaming in the palm of his hand. Who could easily sleep on the beach, dreaming of the other worlds, and don't care about reality.

There was a boy with a silver smile and a dirty-blond hair, who was told that the biggest goal in this life is not to be someone, is to be yourself, no matter what. No matter how broken you are or how rotten is this world.

There was a boy with shiny green eyes, that gleamed so bright in the rays of the sunset. He raised sunflowers on his backyard and watched the sun beaming on his freckled face in the twilights.

There was a young man, who lived and kept dreaming every evening on his rooftop. He grown older, but he still was that smiley kid with a burning desire for adventures. He moved to an other country, met real friends, he finally found a family, a place where he belongs to.

There was a young man, who finally got loved. Who was so happy, so amazed, that people bet he had a burning flame instead of the heart. He stopped watching sunsets, giving all himself to the people he love, to his old dream about being someone special in this life.

There was a young man who could drive like crazy to the beach and drown in warm sand, thinking about how he was tricked so easily. How his heart jumped in his chest everytime he saw the smile on the precious face of his beloved person and how it droped from the cliff when he realized - that smile has never meant to be for him.

He suddenly remembered how he used to watch sunsets on the top of his house, how it shone on his face and danced on the line of horizon. How the trees in his neighbourhood were just black sillhouettes in front of the tangerine-orange sky and flamingo-pink clouds. Oh gosh, he loved to watch the clouds.

He could do it for hours, lying on the grass and notice how they languidly come along above his head, gleaming in sunset's beams, and slowly disappear in amber skies. He suddenly realizes how much he misses his hometown, his dear backyard with old yellow sunflowers, that look like they're smiling. He used to be a reckless kid, a kid with an open inner world and bright gleaming eyes, like the surface of an ocean on the sunsets he loved so much.

Sometimes, you want to return to your childhood, to your happy memories, that shine like a bright sun. You want to forget your reality, abandon all what you have now just to return to those moments, pictured on the old vintage photos from 90s. You want to feel free again, to feel this lovely scent of the old books from dusted shelves, the fresh scent of wooden house or strong salted smell of the ocean.

Some people think that you need to forget about your childhood, that it's already passed - like a bright spark of old memory - here it was and now it's gone. But all you can do is just remember. Remember every second of each moment, every smile of the people you love. And your memories - they will live on, when you cherish them and remember.

There lived a boy with a shiny smile and bright green eyes. He loved his life, while it made him suffer. It introduced him to love, helped him to learn that powerful feeling, but immediately broke his heart. Love is tough. Life is tough. But it teaches us how to live, although sometimes through the rough ways. It helpes us to understand who we are, who we want to be in this life.

The boy didn't become anyone yet, but he will, he knows that. Because he found the place where he belongs to - and it will always be in his heart, hidden in the thickets of the sunflowers.
