"Hello?"
"DANAH!" They all shout. "Where were all of you guys?" I said not paying attention to anything else. "We went inside an elevator to see you but we got stuck here.." Bella says. I look up and realize. This isn't the hotel. The walls were mustardy yellow with patterns. It was cold and the floors felt damp and wet. Just then I heard a growl coming from my right and saw a black figure. Once I opened my mouth to speak I felt Brianna shush me. The growls started to fade and the cold finger that once was pressed onto my lips was gone. "What the hell-?" I said scared. I looked behind me for the elevator but realized it was gone. It had become part of the wall. That's the moment it hit me."We snapped out of reality.." Everybody looked at me, their faces white and pale as their eyes started to slowly widen. Sharaliz shivered but it wasn't from the cold. "We have to find our way out." Brianna said sternly. We slowly all started to walk as our shoes were becoming damp just as the floor. The lights started to flicker and they turned off. At this point we were all huddled together terrified. All we could hear is buzzing noises of the rooms which was just as annoying as your ears ringing for countless hours. We started slowly sneaking around trying not to get lost but suddenly the lights started to flicker and they had turned back on. We sighed in relief but as soon as we were going to start walking once again, we saw another entity.
The hound, a entity seen in any level of the backroom, hostile until seen by a human.
We all stared at the 4 legged creature in front of us as we heard its rumble. It started to dash towards all of us making us bolt the other direction, trying to also catch our breath. We stopped behind a wall but that didn't change the fact the hound was still snarling roughly, trying to smell around. The growls and snarls finally stopped after what seemed like eternity. We started to stick to the walls like small bugs making sure we were aware of our surroundings. We were all completely silent, not even a small breath being heard out of any of our mouths, trying to be as quiet as possible to hear anything coming near. Just then I saw a green flashing light that said "EXIT" I gasped lightly and pointed to it. My friends all raised their eyebrows and their eyes were wide. We dashed to it but then our happiness slowly faded as we realized.
The exit wasn't real.
It had been a fraud, we had been fooled. We looked behind us for anything, another exit, an entity, at this point we were hopeless, we couldn't keep track of time since we had no clocks, windows, and our phones were dead. I started to quietly bawl and huddle into a ball. I was devastated, tired, angry, confused, scared, sad. I was so many emotions at once and I didn't know what to feel. It was all too much. I couldn't handle all of this at once. WHY. I steadily started to contain myself and got back up as my friends were sitting down with me, waiting for me to stop. I followed behind them once again trying to find another exit that wasn't fake. We heard the soft growl of the hound so we dashed the opposite direction from where we heard the snarl. As soon as I turned my head to look back, I saw a red exit sign we missed. "THERE'S AN EXIT SIGN GO!" I yelled not caring. We ran to the exit sign and..
The creak of the exit door echoed across the stained walls and here we were. There was a sign once we opened the door. It had said:
