I dream of my best friends. We're laughing at school and sharing our lunches. We're walking down the hall and telling secrets. Then, I get ripped out of the picture. Like the artist decided they didn't want me in the picture so they just ripped me out. My friends are shocked and appalled that this could ever happen to them. But it didn't happen to them. It happened to me.
"Fuck" I said out loud. I didn't mean to it just kind of slipped out.
"Swearing will not be tolerated Miss Lewis."
The doctor with the gray hair is back. He seems to hate me.
"Are you going to stick a needle in my brain again" I said sarcastically
"Maybe" he replies sarcastically
I look up and for the first time I notice he's wearing a name tag that says Dr. Martin.
"We're gonna need to do another mental stimulation " he continues
"The last one was unsuccessful"
I think that they do this on purpose
"Don't worry there will be no more needles"
Before I know it he puts a plastic mask over my mouth and holds my nose. The last thing I remember seeing is a giant metal helmet with a lot of wires sticking out of it, coming out of a hole in the white ceiling.

I dream of my family. I see my dad and mom swinging me from their arms while we're walking in Greenwood park. Fast forward a few years and my mom is sitting at the foot of a grave with a baby bump. I'm sitting near the headstone crying. It's my fathers grave. He died in a crash, my mom and I were in the car but luckily we survived. My dad died when the car fell into the frigid waters of the river. By the time the emergency crew came my dad was at the bottom of the river. Anyone who went in the water would die of hypothermia. When the emergency crew came out with my dad they were all freezing even in their proper gear.
I awake now on a cold cobblestone cell with condensation moist bread and warm water.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
