"George!" The small boy heard a familiar and comforting voice call out and he looked up from the messages on his phone to meet the face behind the voice he'd heard so much in the past seven years.
He stood in shock and awe as he stared at the new face walking towards him. His mouth was slightly ajar and he couldn't help but admire the dirty blonde boy who was now right in front of him, looking down at him with a wide smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling showing he was truly ecstatic.
Finally registering what he was doing, George grinned back up at Dream. Before the boy could do anything more, Dream wrapped him in a large hug and George froze a bit before sliding his arms around Dream as well.
It was short but George couldn't have asked for anymore, Dream gave the best hugs that already made George feel safe in the other boy's arms and even the short time spent in the warmth of it was long enough though George hoped this wouldn't be the last hug.
George turned and grabbed his suitcase handle from behind him, slightly slouching and looked back up at Dream who was watching him.
"Let's go Georgie, Nick is waiting in the car," Dream said after George had stood upright, the taller boy grabbed the other's free hand and led him towards the exit of the airport.
The brunette was almost confused at who Nick was until he realized that yes, the other two also had real names, not just online aliases. That made everything feel much more real to George even if he was likely to still call them by their online usernames. Yet still, what had felt like a dream was now beginning to process in his mind as he felt his hand interlocked with another.
So many thoughts rushing through his head, George barely realized it when he and Dream finally left the doors to the airport. He felt an unknown and silent weight lift off his shoulders and sighed quietly, he didn't like being around so many people. It took George a while to realize Dream stopped and turned to look at him.
George stared back up at him with doe eyes innocently. He knew that Dream only looked at him because he rarely made noise on their calls but he wanted to pretend that wasn't the reason that Dream turned.
Dream shook his head slightly, his hair bouncing side to side barely as he did so and George couldn't help but admire how fluffy and perfect Dream's hair was. The tall boy turned back around and led George to the car, hands still connected. George saw a raven haired boy in presumably the passenger's seat as Dream released his hand.
Feeling slightly stubborn and just a hint of jealousy, George walked to the car, briefly glancing at Dream as he grabbed George's suitcase and walked around to the back of the car, shoving it into the trunk before walking to the car door and getting in.
He didn't want to sit in the back, he knew that much, the boy wanted to make sure to stay as close to Dream as possible without raising suspicion and take small glances at him here and there. It was a strange urge but he intended to indulge it.
George walked to the passenger side door and crossed his arms at the boy looking through the glass at him. He saw Sapnap laugh, barely hearing it. The door opened and Sapnap hopped out, looking up and down at George and smiling cheekily.
"I told you I'd be taller," Sapnap laughed.
George rolled his eyes and despite being mildly embarrassed, he opened his arms and Sapnap hugged him though the shorter brunette didn't feel the same rush and warmth as when he'd done the same with Dream.
Before Sapnap could steal the front seat again, George quickly slipped under his arm and got into the open door, shutting it and locking the whole car quickly feeling devious.
