My POV: I will never forget it for as long as I live I woke up early as usual when I noticed that Lillian my fiancé was not in bed like she usually was at first I thought she went to help the kitchen staff and Nelson with breakfast but I was dead wrong I walked downstairs and ran into Nelson who was probably going to wake me and Lillian up

Good morning Nelson "have you seen Lillian by any chance? I asked

Good morning Master Lawrence I'am afraid not I have not seen Mrs Lillian at all Sir Nelson replied

Alright thank you Nelson I said

Nelson bowed his head slightly before going back to the kitchen I stood there wondering where Lillian could have been I decided to look all over I started looking for her in the living room she was not there then I checked my study sometimes she liked into my study but again she was not there so I checked in the garden and again she was not there

Where could she be? I thought to myself

I finally decided to check the ballet company so I went to the ballet studio they were in rehearsals for a spring concert that they were having I waited until they were done before I went to talk to who was in charge of rehearsals

Excuse me? I said being polite

Yes can I help you Sir? The young gentleman asked looking at me

Yes my name is Lawrence Talbot and I was wondering have you seen a lady by the name of Lillian Truman? I asked hopeful that she was here

I'am afraid she is not here she left the gentleman said

"Did she say where she was going? "Or why? I asked looking worried

No she did not and I'am sorry I can not help you now if you will please excuse me I have a spring concert to prepare for again I'am sorry Sir the gentleman said before walking away

I looked down at the ground before walking out the ballet studio I decided to keep searching for Lillian I had asked around but no one knew where she was it was like she just up and left Lillian was never known to do something like that I could not figure it out as I was searching for Lillian it started to rain I decided to go to the sheriff's office to report Lillian missing after that it was getting late so I decided to head back to Talbot Hall the sheriff told me that he would contact me if he found anything on Lillian so I went home worried when I got to Talbot Hall it was still raining and there was also thunder as well I changed into something comfortable and sat in my favorite armchair by the fireplace thinking the dogs were by my side including Lillian's dog a white Labrador Retriever named Sugar Plum I always called her Sugar for short she was by my side whining softly and resting her head down on my lap I did my best to comfort her and calm her down I looked over at the window and walked over towards it staring out of it it was still raining and thunder was booming I had a glass of red wine in my hand and I took a couple of sips of it while staring out the window

Oh my dear Lillian where are you? I asked myself wondering where could she be

As I asked this Nelson came into the room I looked over at him he was kind man of few simple words he was tall with short white hair he stood there tall with his hands beside his sides

Dinner is ready Master Lawrence Nelson said

Thank you Nelson but I'am not very hungry and I think I'am going to go to bed early tonight I hope you understand I replied

I understand Master Lawrence have a good rest Sir Nelson said

Thank you Nelson I replied

Nelson bowed his head slightly in acknowledgement before walking out of the room I finished my glass of red wine and called the dogs to follow me to my room I got ready for bed and climbed into bed but I could sleep without my darling Lillian beside me I hope she is alright and cones home soon I miss her so much and I loved her

Please come back Lillian please I'am so lost without you by my side I whispered to myself tears rolling down my face before finally drifting off to sleep
