The powers from the orb

chapter 3

                           The orb

It was a Saturday and i had slept in ,i didn't know if the others are awake or were sleeping.i struggled and reluctantly turned of the alarm. Then taking a quick glance at the alarm with one eye ,to check the time.i got up and walked to the mirror .my hair was a big mess.then i dressed up and wore a nice clothe.the school week was stressful,so i had to do alot of homework. I brought my backpack out of my closet and took out some home work.

I starts of doing algebra, since it was easy for me.once i was thought ,i did biology .then i decided,"I'll do it tomorrow since it was a Sunday.i ran downstairs cause of boredom,i would have stayed upstairs if not,the wifi went out ,when i got downstairs ,i  saw all of them except "Ella".

Good morning,everyone ."i said as i got to the couch in the living room
Hey honey."Isabella said
How was your night?"she asked
Fine,where's Ella ?"i asked
She probably still in bed."xander said
Oh well,"

Do you know Ella favourite show"dash and lily" is cancelled"Max said as while using his phone
Who cares?it a really lame show."xander said
I'm gonna watch tv."I said, just before I saw Ella walk down stairs.
Hey,look who finally decided to wake up."I said once she got down stairs
Goodmorning everyone."she said
Good morning."Isabella said from the kitchen
So when are we goingm."Ella asked
Going where?"max asked
We're going to hang out with these new kids at the park.you we told you all our older friends had left."Ella said
OK."
Well leave by around "ten o'clock"cause we'll be spending the whole day with them

2 hours later
we're about to leave ."xander said from the living room after i had gone up to finish my home-work.

I packed up my book and put in my bag .then i took a quick look at myself to check if i was satisfied with the way i looked
I ran back downstairs ,about to go.

Hey,xander stop filling your face with.......
Why are you eating ?"i asked as he munched sweets down
They're gummy bears."
OK ,where is Ella?
We got to go."i said while grabbing my jacket from the coat hanger .
She's coming. Wait and ........."paused as we saw ella coming down the stairs,dressed like she was going for a school prom.she was so sparkling that she could light up a whole room

"You know your not going on a date?"i said as she came down ,bursting her bubble .raining on her parade.

Haters going to hate."she said and went back up to change.

She definetly likes "miles".
Yup."

Some minutes later she came back down with a casual clothing.we headed out, but i took another look at myself at the mirror.i don't know but for some reason ,the way i looked mattered today.Every time i see miles ,i felt somehow .but i don't think it was wherever miles was around i felt like that,it was someone was always with him but its not his sister,that's one thing im sure of .

We decided to walk to the park ,cause i WS too lazy to drive today .maybe cause its a Saturday or ,im just too lazy .after some minutes of almost like forever walking ,we finally reached the park ,

It was so nice, being in the park
The pale sun onto my smooth skin ,the nice trees and flowers moving as the wind moves through the park.

As soon as we entered the park ,i took a quick glance at the bench ,but no sign of miles or  krystal,which was weird cause we were like running a little late from the time we had chosen to meet up.
We just went to sit and check if they'll eventually show up.

Miles p.o.v.
We reached the park but saw no sign of ella,xander or archer.we went to sit on the bench and wait till they show up .a few minutes passed before i turned to Krystal while she was staring at her phone.

Why don't we hid from them when they get here."i said in the direction of Krystal.
Okay.
So where should we hide?"she asked
Maybe behind the bushes."
Na ,"she said nodding her head ,before she dropped her phone on the bench and then started thinking

"Why not we climb the trees",
Yeah that's a good idea.

We hoped up from our seat and headed in the direction of the tree to climb it.i put my left hand on t first branch and try bot to make the bark of the trees piece my skin.
One hand after the other and one leg after the other till we reached the top of the tree.once we got up to the tree we saw the three of them walking into the park ,they looked for us but when they sat down on the bench thinking we haven't arrived ,xander noticed krystals phone and he knew it was hers cause of her name on the phone case.
It wasn't long before they started looking for us till they found us hiding in the tress.

Archers p.o.v.
Since we knew about krystals phone on the bench,that means 2 things....
1.either they've been kidnapped or 2.they're hiding from us ."i said

We immediately started looking for them knowing that they couldn't get kidnapped since they just moved here.i mean ..........
.....who would want to kidnap someone who just moved here.
I looked at a tree and noticed movement ,i walked closer to get a better view ,i looked at the bottom of the tree and noticed foot step .

I've seen you guys."i called out to them
Dang it!"the both yelled and jumped down the tree.

Xander and Ella run towards us to say hi to them.once we had all greeted and hugged ,we started strolling down from the bench downwards ,all the way to the stream .
There wasnt much people in the park today, it was a very big park ,in a big city,but it was strange not alot of people are here on a Saturday.

As we walked down the hill,i heard a whistle like sound coming from up.i face my head upwards so as to see whats coming ,but the bright sun was too much .within a blink of an eye .boom!there was a rock like thing ,that came from .......outer space.

Whats that?"krystal asks as we all take a step to get a closer look

Just as i was about to touch the rock.it opens up and an orb is inside it .the orbs glows as bright as the sun before levitating into the air. It starts spinning and you could see alot of colours but you can see it well ,because its being misked up with the other colours until the orb grows and you could see .......
The various colours coming out and into us .yellow entered me and i suddenly feel very energised.red enters xander,brown enters Ella,white enters Krystal and blue enters miles, then our bodies start to glow every single colour that had just entered us.the other remaining colours were another were grey and magenta.magenta was close to red but not completely red

After a moment of glowing, it eventually stopped ,but the orb still glows bright.
"What just happened?"i asked in confusion while staring at the orb
"I don't know."Ella says
Maybe it gave us superpowers"miles says in excitement.
Yeah,You sure must have a wild imagination ."Ella says mocking him
Im serious ,what if it gave us abilities."
That's not possible ."i said

Then the orbs light ,starts to die down and it turns black.its been hours since we arrived before we decided its enough humor for the day and when home.
