Prologue

Every so often, I like to look back on the things I've written, to see if I can notice little ways in which I've grown and changed since I had last jotted down my thoughts. After a recent nostalgia trip, I realized that I had written some years ago about wanting to plan a road trip - yearning for a grand, life changing adventure. I am quite pleased to report that I have taken on one such adventure- one of many I hope - which as rerouted my understanding of myself, and has completely re-situated my purpose within this world.

I hope to recapture this experience in the pages to follow, and beg your forgiveness if some things appear a bit hazy or out of order, as a year and a half have passed since the beginning of our digression. I felt it necessary to write this story from my point of view, as I often get the feeling that the way I experience my life is similar to a character in a book.

All I can provide you with, dear reader, is the epic tale of this adventure from my personal point of view, in the hopes of inspiring you to discover your own adventure and persuade you to be the creator of your own story.
