Hi editors and managers, check this out and send something we could change.Btw,this is Ammaspet 's story!Let's get to work.

Aliza was sitting at the window watching the snowfall outside. What else could she do?

"Aliza! Come do your chores!" her mother screamed.

A dream had turned into a nightmare. It's her birthday tomorrow. She made many plans and parties with her family, friends and specially with her dad. Aliza's dad is a military officer. He never stayed at home. At most he will come home once a year, that too for one or two months. This year, her father promised her that he will be present on her birthday no matter what comes up. She was damn excited about her birthday. She invited all her friends, thought of partying all day and night, but the snowfall destroyed all her dreams. And the worse part is, because of this snow storm her father is unable to travel all way and come home. Her father called her sometime before and apologized to her, like a thousand times for his lack of presence and all Aliza can do is to pacify his dad and hiding her sadness and her heart cries inside her.

"Alizaaa..." her mom asked bringing her out of her thoughts.

Since she last talked with her dad she is all depressed and stayed in her room. Her mother tried many ways to cheer her up by involving her in talks and works so that she will not spoil her mood and will be cheerful enough to enjoy her birthday the next day.

"Coming mom!" Aliza answered.

The 15 year old Aliza was not just about to hear her mom scream again. She ran to the living room and she was shocked by what she saw. Her eyes threatened to blink. She was stilled in her place. The scene in front of her and the person whom she is seeing is unbelievable. This is too much for her to absorb. There she saw her dad, holding a big teddy bear in his hands, balloons, a cake and a huge smile on his face. He is still in his military uniform which means that he just returned from his duty.

"Dad..." Aliza whispered very slowly.

" Happy Birthday Princess," He wished exactly at 12 'o' clock at night.

He reached there just few minutes ago.He kept the teddy and other gifts aside and opened his arms wide open to her. He missed his daughter terribly all long. He never comes home at the time of her birthday and this time he made up his mind so badly that he should be there with his daughter either way, and finally he made it.Aliza immediately ran up to him and jumped on her dad. She hugged him so tightly and began to cry. She never ever expected such a surprise ever in her life. She kept crying in her father's arms.

"That's a emotional moment," came from an unknown voice.

Finally, Aliza left her dad as she heard behind her dad. Over there she saw an unknown man. Both Aliza and her mother looked suspiciously at that person.

She guessed her dad sensed their uneasiness so he freed me and said, "He is the person that helped me reaching here. I met him on the way and when I said I wanted to reach out for my daughter's birthday, without a single thought he offered me the ride. If I made it here in this snow fall then it's all because of him and actually it was him who bought the cake and teddy too for you."

Aliza was very grateful to that person. He looked a bit older than her father, had wrinkles near his eyes and forehead. His hair is a mix of both black and white strands. Though he is smiling, there is some disappointment and pain in his eyes which Aliza noticed. Aliza and her mother thanked him a lot and offered him to stay at their place, to which he hesitated for a bit, later he agreed.Aliza's happiness knows no bounds now. She forgot about everything, her plans, her friends, her shopping, her parties. The only thing that is running in her mind is her Dad. She always craved for his presence near her. No matter how close and dependent she is with her mother her father had been a guiding light. She always felt sad when she saw her friends going home with dad or when their dad's used to drop them. She too wanted to enjoy all those sweet little things, but as she went growing up she realized the importance of her father's duties and respected it.But, now she is not thinking about all that. She is too envisioned in party mood to care for the world. She laughed, shouted, singed and danced. She cut the cake and clicked many pics with her parents and all the time that old man accompanied them in their happiness. Finally all of them fell asleep late at night and even the old man back after much persuasion. That whole night Aliza kept talking to his father. She told him what all he missed listening to in all these months and when her father started to share his memories, she fell asleep listening to him. Out of blue, Aliza woke up early. Way before her parents did. Don't know what waked her up so fast, but she did and descended downstairs. Over there she saw the main door slightly opened.

This irked her up and went out only to see the old man leaving her house. He is past gone before she could ask him why he is leaving. 'What was that?' thought Aliza and the very next thought that came in her mind was, 'Is he a thief?' , 'Did he steal anything?'

She immediately went inside and checked all around her home and then went to the room in which he stayed. Everything looked perfect, except a small note lying on the nightstand. She reached to it nervously and took it to see what it has in it.

The letter said, "Many more Happy returns of the day dear. You remind me of the daughter I lost on her very birthday. I am afraid I would bring some bad luck here too. Again Happy Birthday."

The whole day passed away in a blur. Well happy for the day as the snow fall stopped abruptly and we even went out for dinner and dad's holiday too got extended for another week. But also Incomplete. Aliza parents were confused same like her. That mysterious man suddenly appeared in their lives and left with a small note. Aliza only had one thought, 'Will I ever meet him?'
