It all began in December. Rita had shown a liking towards a rat-esque looking boy called roddy who was in our school year. All our friends had been aware of her fondness for weeks, maybe even months. no one had taken any action, apart from occasionally calling her name when he passed us. But then it took a turn. This was when disaster struck. This was our error. Yasmin, another friend of ours created a chat room with me, roddy and Rita. Yasmin was the first to type.
"Hello" she said
"Hi" I responded
"Why am I here" asked roddy suspiciously
Yasmin then started to call the chat. I screamed in shock even though we had planned this for weeks. After 5 long seconds I hesitantly joined. Yasmin was there. So was Rita and roddy. We sat in silence for one long second before Yasmin greeted everyone.
"Why am I here" roddy questioned again
We noticed he was with a girl claiming to be his lover, but we saw straight through it. No one would want to be a mother, never mind a lover to a thing as repulsive as that.
"Rita likes you" I blurted out
Rita and Yasmin screamed with shock
