Standard Form:
Humanoid in appearance, resembling a child around the age of 15, with a body that seems to made of smoky gray shadows.
The area around his faces resembles a headgear, namely a helmet. His helmet possess two curled horns or ears, with a wispy horn in the center.
Each arm has a small bump on the wrist. Around his neck is a smoky collar and a trail of shadows on each foot.
Orange-red eyes with yellow pupils, on top of each eye are yellow, oval markings.
Zenith Form:
When in combat or angered, his helmet, wrist bumps, and collar flare up resembling green and yellow flames. Marshadow's eyes also flare up in this form, but they retain the same color. At its peak a flame-like aura emanates around his body.
Personality:
Marshadow is extremely curious and cautious, he dwells with the shadows of others to avoid detection while also observing his surroundings.
While dwelling in the shadows of others he can understand their feeling, as a result he is more empathetic and compassionate then his fellow demons.
He generally avoids combat, unless heavenly provoked or agitated, then he strikes with seemingly no mercy.
Power and Abilities:
Inhuman Physical Capabilities: Marshadow's physical strength, speed and endurance are leaps and bounds greater than the average human.
Regeneration: Like all demons, Marshadow possesses incredible regenerative abilities, able to heal any limbs and organs in a matter of seconds.
Martial Art Prowess: Marshadow is an exceptional hand to hand combatant, able to outmaneuver and overwhelm skilled Demon Slayers and powerful Demons.
Aura Sensing: Marshadow can sense the aura or life energy other living creatures, Humans, Demons, animals, etc.
Sunlight Resistance: Unlike other demons, Marshadow can survive sunlight, however his powers and strength are greatly reduced.
Blood Demon Art:
Umbrakinesis: Marshadow's main ability is manipulation of shadows.
He use it to conjure shadowy limbs (namely arms).
Short-range teleportation.
Drain the life force of Humans and Demons.

Techniques:
Spectral Thief: Marshadow slips into his targets shadow and strikes while also sapping away some of their life force, or steal their techniques for a limited time.
Phantom Force: Possession of the body of another human or demon, with or without the will of the target. However should the target be far superior or has a resilient will, he/she can resist the possession.
Shadow Ball: Conjures flame-like shadow orbs to be launched as projectiles.
Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike: Marshadow summons a shadowy avatar and unleashes a merciless onslaught of attacks with unrelenting force. The end result could kill a human, and could leave a demon permanently immobilized.

Weaknesses:
Nichirin Blades: Like all demons, decapitation by Nichirin blades will kill Marshadow.
Sunlight: While Marshadow can survive sunlight, it greatly hinders his powers, strength and regeneration capabilities. Leaving him extremely vulnerable.
Wisteria: The wisteria flower is poisonous to Marshadow, to evade them he slips into a nearby shadow for safety.
