The needles,
The pills,
Everything.
I awoke in a strange place full of things unknown to me, with creatures unknown to me. I snarled at everything that was near and every creature that even tried to approach me. All of them would always be upset and then leave me alone, only to come back later but as a different one. They never gave up, one night when I was finally fast asleep something entered the room silently and fast. I was too slow to react and too tired to try and fight back, so I let them do whatever they were doing, as long as it was painless.
After a few moments the scurried out the exit and back into an unknown area. The next morning everything that would come in and out of the place was a lot less cautious around me, a lot more daring. I hadn't minded it that much, but whenever they would touch me I growled at them, letting them know if whatever they were doing hurt, I would rip off their face. most of them backed off and left me, some had just continued on with whatever they were doing.
As soon as I figured no one was watching me I would run around the perimeter for about two hours before tiring myself out and trotting back over to the small but comfortable sheet they laid out for me to sleep on.
As days went by the things got more and more brave, doing things that hurt me bopping me on the nose harshly, and even holding me down to do who knows what. Whenever they would stop and turn for the exit, I would always chase after them in hopes I could maul them to death.
Several days later on tall creature that I had never seen before stepped into my domain.
"Hello subject 2401. This test I'm about to do won't hurt a bit, okay." It spoke calmly. It put a small helmet atop my head and hooked up small and winding toobs to it. It attached it to a strange machine they called, EEG.
They said that it was going to help us with the tests. It hooked up the required parts and flipped a switch making it spurt out noises I had never heard before.
After the test was done, the thing reclaimed the headset and wires, and exited with a small slip of paper.
that was the last I ever saw of it.
