Back from Expulsion..

Lila wants me expelled huh?

Marinette had been away from school for 4 days before finally being allowed back, Turns out Lila has a soft spot for the Blond boy in class. Anyway, Marinette had waited until the Monday after to return to her class, Though she was dreading it. Lila was still in school and that meant she had to keep an eye out for any more of her totally unbelievable lies, she didn't even care about her and Adrien anymore; he knew she was a liar and that put marinette's mind at ease. Good, one less thing to worry about.

Monday morning, 8:54 AM.

"How are you feeling?"
Marinette jumped at the question, she had only just got to the staircase at school when Adrien had showed up. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted to make sure you got here okay.."
"O-Oh I'm okay thank you, And thank you for sorting Lila. I wouldn't even be here without you" She smiled whilst holding eye contact with him, he crossed his arms and leaned a little closer to her before speaking up again, making sure no one would hear "You were right, We can't just sit here and watch her fool everyone around. She went to far to purposely expel you for something you didn't do." After that they both went silent, waiting for one to speak up. Marinette took the initiative, "Well then, I guess we have to play fire with fire." Her face showed absolutely no signs of hesitation, instead she smirked with confident eyes at Adrien, for a split second she reminded Him of ladybug. "If anything goes wrong then a little blackmail couldn't hurt" He winked before finally walking to class, letting marinette follow beside him.

"Hey marinette! I just wanted to say I am soo sorry about what happened last week, it's just my illness and it makes me say all these random things!" It was Lila. She had put a single fist on the desk in front of marinette, making sure Adrien would hear the apology.

(Marinette Pov) -
Fire with fire. This is fine. I can use this.

"Absolutely no worries Lila! I totally forgive you it wasn't your fault after all, Maybe now that we've both apologised we can be friends!" Marinette stood up, making sure the class would see and hear the conversation, she looked to Adrien to signal she knew what she was doing, Then she looked to lila. Her face had stiffened with anger and went as red as her cardigan, she took her fist off the table to be face to face with the stubborn bluenette in front of her.

"I totally Agree! That would be so nice marinette I'm so happy your finally looking at my side of things"
She pulled marinette into a hug, Which would've been a good move on her part if she had thought it through. She leaned to marinette's ear and began to whisper "I don't know what your doing but it's not gonna prove anything. Adrien is mine and by now you should know that, I'm capable of way more than simply getting you expelled."
And now it was marinette's turn, Like she said before, You have to fight fire with fire.
"I may look sweet and innocent Lila, but like you I'm way more capable of what you think. You can try and get Adrien I don't care, cause he doesn't want a liar like you. So how about for now we act like friends, it will help us both out in the long run, Kay'?"

Lila pulled away from the 'hug' between the two and sat down in her seat by Nathaniel, Not knowing of what would come of her in the next few weeks. She stared at the back of marinette's head from above, unable to figure out what she was doing.

Lila was scared.

And Marinette knew.
