Lila And The Liar.

A smashed Phone.

First Month back.
Shit gets real.

Lila had arrived to school early, making sure to bring an old phone with her for the day. She needed Marinette gone. Her and Adrien had grown closer over the past month and that made Lila pissed. "Second times the charm" she said as she threw the phone to the ground, smashing the screen to pieces in the process.
Lila waited until lunch before kindly asking Marinette for a chat. They walked to the courtyard behind the school out of sight from any eavesdroppers behind them.

cat noir POV.
What's happening... Why are Lila and Marinette Alone together. This isn't going to end well.
He sat above the wall, close enough to hear but out of sight from the two girls. From where he was he couldn't see the two just hear them But he still pressed a little paw shaped record button on his staff.

M: What did you bring me all the way out here for Lila?
L: I have no idea what your talking about Marinette, we're friends aren't we?
M: Only till the clock hits three.
Cat could feel the tension rise in the air.
L: Oh well it doesn't matter anyway, you'll be out of here soon.
M: what are you blaming me for this time?
Lila laughed and started to walk away, not bothering to look back at the girl.
Marinette stood still for a second before finally running after her trying to catch up, Lila Heard the footsteps and ran straight to A nearby teacher in the cafeteria. Cat noir quickly de-transformed back into adrien and ran to them.

"Miss Miss! Help me!" Lila faked a cry.
The teacher looked up to Marinette before she could reach Lila.
"Marinette Smashed my phone! I was only trying to apologise for everything between us and she got all mad at me!" She buried her head into the teachers side attempting to hide her laughter.
"What! No I didn't!" Marinette insisted, Trying to get out of the situation. The teacher walked up to her and grabbed her arm.
"Your coming with me to The principles Office!" She said as she tugged on Marinette jacket.
She stood still, not letting the teacher pull her away, and looked at Lila before turning to adrien. He give her a nod to show he was going to fix it but instead she smiled back to him.

"Okay sorry, I did break Lilas phone but it was an accident I promise, you all know how clumsy I am. I'm super sorry Lila I swear I'll repay you! I can't actually afford for you to get it fixed right now but maybe I can Help you with homework or something...?" The teacher let go of Marinette, happy with her 'apology'. Lila stood still, unable to think of an answer, instead she give the teacher a pleading look. "Lila, I know your phone is a big deal but Marinette has sworn it was an accident, We all know how clumsy she is but as long as she tried to fix that then there shouldn't be a problem. I say you both just apologise and forget this happened. Besides Marinette even offered to help you with your school work and you told me you needed help in my science class."
Marinette stood behind the teacher smiling to Lila whilst crossing her arms waiting for what she would say next. "Okay Marinette. Let's just forget this happened." the teacher walked away pleased with how it ended and Marinette walked away to speak to adrien.
"I didn't really break her phone, you know that right?" Marinette said as she looked up at adrien.
"Marinette trust me, I heard everything." He held up his phone with the recording of the conversation going silent as she listened. "We have some evidence against her now."
She smiled before giving him a high five, thanking him for the recording.
After that they finished lunch and went back to class, Knowing they would need to be a lot smarter and think carefully about what happens next.
