Carmen picks a small dandelion from the fluffy grass and looks at it for a moment. She remembers the feeling of the warm sun and the green grass she knew as a kid standing in that exact spot.)
Mysterious man:Pretty aren't they?
Carmen: I mean... yes... but who are you?
Man:Oh just somebody with a liking for butterflies.
Carmen: why do you seem so familiar
Man: I attend at the nearby high school ( redwood high school was a school that all children dreamed of attending. It was filled with gifted children. These children were more then gifted they were powerful, they possessed unnatural power.)
Carmen: redwood?
Man: yes, the reason I came is because I have seen you there. In fact I'm impressed with the power that you have.
Carmen: power is easy to have...
Man: WHAT HOW CAN YOU JUST SAY THAT YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW WITH POWERS!
Carmen:You didn't let me finish, power is easy to have but control is a skill that not most people have. The reason you recognize me is because I control what I have, not because I'm special.
( just past the park bessica hears:)
Girl: JAKE GET OVER HERE!
boy:OK GOD IM COMING!
girl : COMMON JAKE LETS GO!
boy : WELL IF YOU WOUDL HAVE LEMME GET READY FOR SCHOOL THIS MORNING MABEY I WOULDN'T BE RUNNING AND PACKING RIGHT NOW!
Carmen: I heard we were getting new kids today mabey that is them.
Man: oh by the way my name is sam I have to get to class but we will see if they really are the new kids in a matter of minutes I guess. SEE YA!
(Carmen drives to the school leaving Sam running by himself)
(Carmen makes it to class right on time to see that Sam and about 89 percent of the class is sitting in their seats already.She quickly noticed that two seats were empty, she had never seen them before. "The new kids but he coming today"
Teacher: will all of you sit down for an announcement
( class sits)
Teacher : as some of you may know we are getting new kids on Friday,but judging by their scores in our acceptance test they are coming today.
( two kids bust through the door, a girl with red and brown hair and a baggy outfit for such a fancy school, and a boy with black hair covering the top half of his face with a similar outfit to hers)
Teacher:OH here they are everyone meet Sophia and Jake! Please introduce yourselves to our new students.
Carmen: HELLO I'm bessica and I can stop time whenever I want
Sam: hi I'm Sam and I can sense how anything feels by my sense of energy. That means I can also sense where things are coming from such as electricity waves.
Boy from the back of the class: hey I'm Casey and I can turn objects into a different material. For example can take a brick and make it rubber!
Sophia: oh, that's cool ...
Jake :SAY SOMETHING
Sophia: ( laughs) OH YEA I can basically do weird stuff with DNA and I can shoot fire from my hands
Jake : and I can make illusions that are in your head then with a strong amount of force make them come to life.
girl from the back of the class: IM TAYLOR AND I THINK JAKE IS SUPER CUTE ... oops did I say that IM SO QUIRKY
Sophia: PTFFFFFF IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING
Jake : AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE FUNNOF ME NOW?!?
Sophia: IM SORRY ITS JUST THAT somebody finally likes you and ITS THE QUIRKY GIRL
teacher : settle down and head to your seats
