Jisung POV
I woke up seeing a white ceiling as the hospital scent welcomed me. I saw my mom sitting next to my bed waiting for me to wake up.
"Mom" I called in a sleepy voice
"Oh Jisung your already awake" my mom said
"What happened to me?" I asked
"You have a very high fever that cause you to faint, the doctor said you'll stay here for awhile"
"How about school?"
"I already talk to your teacher"
"Just wait here I'll say to the nurse that you woke up" she lastly said before leaving
I sat on my bed as I wander around the room. My eyes reach the door and I saw a girl pass by.
"she looks cute" i though
I go to the door and find the girl, I saw her entering the room next to mine.
"Jisung why are you outside?!" My mom said coming with a nurse next to her
"I told you to stay there"
"I saw someone who looks like my classmate" I lied
"Now let's go back" mom said and help me to go to my bed

"Can you stay here alone?" Mom ask while arranging her bag
"Yes mom, I'm already 13 tho" I said
"Okay, I'll get back after work" she said and hug me before she leave
It's Monday and also 3 days when I first came here, The doctor said that they still need to monitor me since I'm not healthy like I used to.
Minutes after mom left I don't have something to do that makes me bored, I remember the girl next to my room so I decided to be friends with her
"What if she's still sleeping" I said before knocking to her door
knock.knock.knock
No one opened so I just go inside, I find her in her bed staring at me
"Hi! I'm the boy next to your room, can we be friends?" I ask
she just continue on staring at me so I decided to talk
"I just came here days ago, what about you?"
she still don't talk
she adjust her bed and lay while her back facing me
the door opened revealing the nurse with food on the tray
"You're here" she said and go to my direction
"You're food is on your table, eat now" she said
"Thank you" I said
I go to the girl's bed and talk to her
"I'll be back later, eat your food first" I said then leave
I enter my room finding the my food at the table. I started eating as I get disturb with thoughts
"why she's not talking?" I mumbled
"maybe something happened"
"she's pretty" I lastly said and continue my food

3rd Person POV
Jisung continue on visiting the girl, he talk about everything he do when his mom was not there and also if he enjoy the hospital food or not.
"How old are you?" Jisung ask
"13" she said
"Oh really?!"
"We're at the same age" Jisung excitedly said making the girl surprise
That day, 5th day of Jisung in the hospital they became close. They often play together, visit the garden or jisung eating at her room.
"Are you finish?" Jisung ask
the girl nodded leaving her table to return the tray
Jisung snatched the tray from her and let her to stay
"I'll bring it outside, you can just wait here" jisung said before he leave
The girl POV
It's been 2 weeks since I've been in this hospital and it's lonely when your friends are not with you.
I'm happy this recent days since a boy next to my room accompany me, we're friends already but I don't know his name yet
"Little girl we need to go to your doctor now" the nurse said
"Okay"
I have a wound on my legs and some little fracture that's why I still can't leave
I follow the nurse until we reach the doctors office.
"Are you feeling better now?" He asked
"Yes, they only hurt a little" I said
"That's good, we just need to see if the fracture is developing okay?" He asked as he started to do something
After some time the doctor finish things as I was told about the results
"They're are developing well" the doctor said and smiled at me
"Just more days and you can now move freely" he continued
The nurse help me to go back to my room but then I remember about the boy next to mine
"I can go back now, thank you" I said as the nurse get back to her work
I peek to his room but then I saw no one, I assume that maybe he's at my room so I ran directly there
No one was there
I go back to his room and opened his door, he's not hiding also not in the bathroom,
but then I notice something.
his things were not there, the hospital gown and the bed were all tidy
I go back to my room and sat on the bed
"he left"
I mumbled
I was about to go to bed and just forget about what happened when I noticed there's a paper at the back of my door
I run directly to it and look about what's written, it's his farewell message
It's just short so I just read it fast
"from the boy next room, your friend"
I lastly said
