1. Late Realisation

Daniel is just too oblivious to notice.

"Patrick!"

Patrick turns his head to the source of voice that called for him, he knew that voice and he loves hearing that voice.

The person runs towards patrick with his black sling bag on his shoulder.

"Let's go to the class together" the person says with a cheerful smile.

Patrick nods his head, secretly his heart is jumping happily cause his crush wanted to walk to the class together. Yes. He likes this guy and his name is Daniel. It has been 3 years but he doesn't plan on confessing his feelings at all. He's afraid of rejection and he could lose their friendship as well.

"Sure! Let's go" patrick says.

Daniel smiles and walks alongside patrick towards their first class.

"You look different today" patrick decided to ask because he notices that daniel is glowing happily today and that's very rare to see on a daily basis.

Daniel chuckles, "Different how? Do I look more handsome today?" he nudges patrick's arms jokingly.

Patrick hides his face down cause my boy is blushing, "No you just look extra happy today?" of course he's not going to admit how handsome his crush is.

"Well you're right I'm happy today and guess why?" Daniel says.

Patrick raises his eyebrows curiously, "Why?" he asks.

"I finally asked her out"

Patrick immediately stop walking, "Wait what? When?" his heart is dropping.

Daniel stops and looks at him weirdly, "Why did you look shocked though?"

Patrick sighs heavily, "I'm not shocked it's just...i didn't expect that cause you told me you like her just yesterday and now you already asked her out" he says calmly, trying not to sound broken.

Daniel laughs, "Well that's good right? At least be happy for me patrick!" he wraps his arm around patrick's shoulder.

"Of course I'm happy for you" patrick says. He hates this feelings so much.

"Good now let's get going" daniel drags patrick along with him to the class.

Today is patrick's worst day, his crush never stop talking about the girl that he's dating and it's driving patrick mad. He really felt like putting a duct tape over Daniel's mouth once and for all.

"Daniel...you've talked about that earlier...i get it you're exited but don't forget our night out tomorrow..we're watching that horror movie remember?" Patrick says reminding his friend of their usual friday night out. It's a tradition for their friendship.

But as soon as patrick notices the change of Daniel's face, he knew that it's going to turn out bad.

" I'm sorry patrick...I'm taking her out tomorrow night" daniel apologies, he truly felt bad but he already made a promise with the girl.
