"Ian Black"
He can't be Ian.....the super arrogant rude guy that broke my phone the other day is Ian Black. ughhhh, my whole imagination just freaked out.
"you!!!? umm" I was surprised
"Hailey......he is Mr. Ian, CEO of 'The Black Card' " Sofie introduced us while we were still unable to take our eyes off each other "and this is Hailey" Sofie poked her elbow at my back gesturing me to stop staring at him
I frowned my eyebrows at her.....and she widened her eyes
"let's just sit and talk" Sofie continued and all of us sat down , Ian was talking to this man who I suppose was his lawyer
"as I have already explained everything to you , lets discuss everything again to make things clear with miss....?" Ian started talking with sofie and slowly turned his eyes towards me
"Hailey" I finished
"so, miss Hailey" his lawyer started explaining the contract" you will be leaving on a 15 day cruze trip to Italy this Saturday onwards with Mr. Ian. If the deal finalises , half the payment will be made right now and the rest at the end if everything goes well. The whole amount will be paid in cash, and you are supposed to pay for any kind of property damage from your side. If you back out or anyone gets to know that you aren't actually his girlfriend.....none of the payment will be made and you have to return the whole amount back"
This wasn't good...but I think I can handle it.....
"moreover....as you are pretending to be a couple ...you cannot be provided with a separate bedroom and you have to share the same with mr. Ian.....
of course...
"any kind of sexual activity will not be involved but if you try to attempt any....there will be consequences"
"what kind of consequences?" I asked in a weird manner....why would I try to do anything l with this man....but the clearer the better
"you lose the deal"
"fine" I said in a low voice ...not because I was worried about it but I saw Ian staring at me for the reply ......he's a jerk..and it is never a part of the deal
"Moreover" he continued...."unharmed kissing for the sake of public....
"What" I questioned with lines on my forehead ..I was confused or maybe shocked....I don't know....but I have never agreed to kiss or indulge in any kind of sexual act for the sake of the deal...
Sofie put his left hand over mine gesturing me to calm down
"Any problems Miss Hailey?" the problem itself spoke
"you can't kiss me"
"ohh! I would love not to" he spoke in a sarcastic tone ."but we are pretending to be a couple" and finished in his regular rude tone
Oh god! how am I gonna survive this man for a whole lot of 15 days.....'I would love not to' as if I am dying to kiss this jerk...what does he thinks of himself....No! i won't kiss a stranger for a bit of money...but it isn't just a bit of money! kissing him once or twice wouldn't be any harm...he's got looks..OMG! what are you even thinking Hailey
"No" I said as I came out of my imagination
"listen" Sofie interrupted and excused us.....
"see Hail ..I understand your concerns but please just don't directly start arguing and try to negotiate" she made puppy eyes "please"
she is not wrong....this isn't just about me....everything I say or do includes decision for Sofie and marcus..we can't lose this deal....so I finally decided to indulge back in the conversation
"so what have you decided miss hailey" Ian said while picking up a tissue from the table and gently dabbing his fingers clean....I didn't realize when he went to the washroom and came back
"uhh.Okay....but my conscent..each and every time " I said pointing both my index fingers at him
Ian and his lawyer looked at each other and noded in a yes "Okay" said Ian with a 'WHATEVER' look. he is definitely arrogant ,rude and super glib....but its just a matter of a few days....
most of the other conditions weren't a big deal so we decided not to argue but did a bit of negotiation at times....
"okay then" as you have agreed to most of the conditions....here are the contract papers.....
I, Sofie and Ian signed the papers and everyone stood up...
"Thanks a lot Mr. ian" Sofie said while shaking hands with him
Ian offered his hand to me for a handshake . I was looking at his hand.. and he was looking at me....I could feel his gaze on myself ...as soon as I joined my hand and completed the handshake
, he whispered something..."thankyou Hailey!" OMG ! for real?? ..I was not expecting a thankyou at all....guess this guy's not completely mannerless
"you're welcome" I replied with a smile. he did not smiled back...just nodded and took off...
.expressions on his face barely changes .except his weird smirk which I find very dangerous....what is his guy...
when I turned around Sofie was there standing there smiling widely .I gave her a squeezy eye smiley curious look....even though I knew what she was happy about.....
"come on"
I smiled back and followed her outside.....
