Mission: Socialise

Ivy's POV
5:30pm
Teony and I have had some small talk about what we like, she's actually quite funny, if she wasn't a stuck up she could've actually been popular but now that she is it's irreversible, but she's quite nice to be around, I can't believe I'm actually saying nice this about her.
"So who do you live with?" Teony says
"Oh, I live with my mum, but she's never home due to working a lot....and being a big slut" I mumble the last part so Teony can't hear the last part
"Hm? Oh I'm sorry to hear that...what about your dad or siblings?" Teony asks, I pause for a bit because it's a heavy topic for me
"Uh....well my dad he was abusive towards me and my mother so when I was 7 my mum finally left him, and I had a brother before I was born who died, from my fathers abuse....." I start tearing up, god why did I tell Teony of all people this, even Lilly doesn't know
"Please don't tell anyone at school...." I choke on my tears trying to form that sentence
"Of course I won't tell anyone, I'm in a similar situation aswell" she reassures me
"R-really?" I sniffle
"Yeah, my dad pasted when I was younger, I can't understand the trauma that you went through but I know what it's like not having a father figure" She smiles, like she's also holding back tears.

Woah. We just opened up to each other......wow I can't believe I'd actually have something in common with Teony, she's actually a cool and sweet person
"Let's change the subject..." Teony says wiping her single tear away "What's your favourite colour?" She exclaims
"Oh! Mines Green, specifically Sage Green" I smile, but I quickly hide it, no one actually takes time to know me like this "what's yours?"
"Yellow! It reminds me of everything nice"
"That's really sweet" I try to hold back another smile, why do I keep smiling around her?!

6:30pm
For the rest of the study session, we got to know each other, it was quite...nice.
I walk towards the door to leave and I say bye to Teony
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Teony says
"Uh, yeah sure, but let's go back as we were ok?" I say, I like her but I can't be seen with her, Lilly would kill me and my rep would be killed
"Oh ok cool" there's an awkward silence for about 15 seconds
"I should get going, cya" I say walking to my car
"Bye!" She calls out

Teony's POV
I wave Ivy goodbye and head inside, and I have a wave of warmth come over me, wait what am I thinking? Ivy doesn't even want to be friends with me, she said to go back to the way we were before, I sigh thinking about this, as much as we hated each other before, I kinda wish we were friends before.

10:00pm
I walk to my room after a shower and prepare for bed, I change into my yellow pj's and sit at my vanity brushing my hair, sitting in my thoughts
"Am I not good enough to be popular and cool like her?" I contemplate to myself "Am I really a buzz kill?" "Am I really a stuck up geek like they say?" I start tearing up, I wipe away some tears and walk to my bed, I lay down and check my phone

Ivy: Hey look let's just act like this afternoon happened, but we can still talk just outside of school

Wait? What rumours? I'm really curious so I should ask Lucy what's up

Lucinda💕:
Lucinda: Hey did you hear about any rumours?
Teony: What rumours?
Lucinda: oh it's nothing then
Teony: Look somethings up I can tell, you're one of my best friends you can tell me anything
Lucinda: so I went to Ryland's party yesterday...
Teony: And?
Lucinda: i kissed someone, a girl specifically due to being drunk
Teony: And what does this have to do with anything?
Lucinda: well someone found out and now everyone has found out I'm a lesbian, well more that I like women
Teony: Oh....I'm so sorry about that Lucy, being outed sucks
Lucinda: yeah....well I'll see you tomorrow I guess
Teony: Yeah! I'll see you tomorrow

I close my phone as shut my eyes, I'm extremely tired so I start to fall asleep, awaiting tomorrow's arrival.
